Hello,
This is my first post so please forgive any mistakes regarding which forum this actually belongs in etc.
I has been on benzodiazepines since age 14 due to severe anxiety and insomnia. I has been on Xanax 6mg a day, Clonazapam 6mg a day, Ativan 6mg a day, not at the same time but rotating between the three, and a plethora of other pharms in conjunction with those benzo's including abilify, trazadone, prozac, gabapentin, and too many others to name. I am now 22 and still suffers from severe anxiety. I have been to 6 pyschs and no combo of drugs seems to help. I enjoy recreational use of benzo's, but is finding that they are not getting me high anymore. I have gotten to the point where 14 mg of clonazepam does almost nothing. On top of that I require 8-12mg of clonazepam/xanax/ativan to deal with anxiety.
I don't want to get off benzo's, but would like to find something stronger or something to potentiate benzo's/reduce tolerance. From reading The forums on benzo's midazolam seems like the way to go, but I would like to know what others think who have had the same tolerance problem.
Thanks
