marmalade, i agree and welcome the mutual keeping in check and what not.. its all traffic i.e gravy, man. but to use a mildly childish phrase (FOR ONCE LUL) shambles started it. he's being trying for a while now actually, so i finally decided to respond. but anyway, like shm in a way - he seems about the person least likely to allow anything said by a stranger on the internet to affect him in any way whatsoever. which he actually proved somewhat today. if i was going off at some poor innocent like pagey i could understand your defence, but cmon.. shambles has shown himself quite able to both take and dish it out. its akin to me protecting spade when you plagued him about his gingerism or some such

for someone who doesnt give a fuck ceres certainly seems to be referencing my name a lot

upset ive exposed his little secret, id imagine. i wasnt even certain he wasnt just an inept programmer either before today, thankfully his reaction had confirmed my original assumption

you can still be one if you really put your mind to it, id imagine nvq courses are free when youre unemployed :D

Your perception on the above is way off imo ... I think you're missing loads of angles, particularly about Shambles.

One of the first things one observes about Shambles, should surely be that he doesn't flippantly act the cunt towards someone for his own amusement. If you read into his posts, he has a pretty consistent code when posting, and that certainly doesn't include making fun of any poster, whomever they are, just for his own amusement (and when he does engage on that level, any piss taking is obviously done with mutual <3 and respect between him and whomever he's engaging with) .

He's incredibly fucking respectful of the boundaries and the sensitivities of people in general and those whom he engages with. I can't see how this is not an obvious observation for anyone to make. He never exploits such a situation just for his own amusement or to pander to his own complexes, despite being insightful enough about other people to be able to cause maximum damage if he actually wanted to.

You seem to forget that you've spent the last few months switching from being in 'uber-cunt-for-kicks' mode (to various people all over the forum), to being a charm-monster and making a considerable effort to woo the regular folks of EADD when it suits. All things considered, you've been treated incredibly charitably imo (by EADD posters in general and in particular Shambles). If Shambles has retaliated in any way, it's not because he hasn't been prodded several times (and exercised vast amounts of patience already) before deciding to respond.

Eh, on a separate note, I love this kind of topic/discussion and it's one of the key reasons I love forums so much

Good post though Marmalade. How anyone could pick an actual fight with Shambles is beyond me.

Idk my ex is like that. He's still young but still, he doesn't even have hair on his arms. Absolutely nothing. Same on his legs. Kinda weird actually. :?

Actually, not really. It's just a discussion tbh. People like to hype this stuff up to more than it is. It's posters discussing their thoughts and behaviours ... no need to stigmatise it with a 'drama' label :)

Shambles isn't nice*, I've met him, but he's tolerant and hugely compassionate and understanding. <3
