That's pretty hilarious but also terrifying from my perspective so I can imagine how it felt at the time! Glad you weren't subject to an obscene torture-murder Shams <3 If I'm ever threatened by gun-toting drugs barons I'll remember to put the kettle on..

from 16 to 12 stone in less then 12 months, I saw a picture of myself recently at center parks at the swimming pool, fek me I was a chubber=D, no booze and these god dam ADs do have an upside after all :D, I'm back to a standard 32" 32" in jeans so thats really helped more than I thought with my self esteem.

I had half a wardrobe of quite expensive clothes that I can now wear, the tartan flares get some funny looks though;)

My mate shouted me over, as I was lost but care-free strolling through a German airport drinking a can of Becks (this was probably about 15 hours into a serious drinking session) pished out my face & wearing heart shaped sunglasses (which I had forgot I had on), by loudly shouting across this airport when he spotted me - "Fuck sake man! You look like Elton John's junkie dad! Get over here!"

I don't know how I went from normal sunglasses in Manchester, this was already the morning after starting drinking the previous evening...

That was us sunbathing basically on a taxi rank lol while waiting 5 hours in Germany for our next flight

I had to make my mate put his t-shirt back on. I was apparently the liability because I was horrendously drunk & continuing to drink despite everyone (including the cabin crew haha, who we were talking to while I was lying in that taxi rank drinking more Becks) advising me to stop, yet he was lying with his top off outside a German airport with "Arbeit macht frei" tattooed across his chest lol.


There's a much worse picture of me with those shades on it but it's not getting posted.

Btw - Lufthansa airline for the fucking win, they were quality. I'm flying to Germany tomorrow morning (starting drinking this evening lol, standard)... with EasyJet!!! I'm sure this flight will be nowhere near as comfortable & relaxing as the last one :|

I know what ya mean, was puttin a few on meself got upto 14 stone, for a 5'11 person, now down to 11 (In roughly i dunno 6/7 months) and feelin much better for it confidence-wise etc

i think its due to not eating shite anymore although i had kfc lastnight lol
and not drinking anymore, have the odd beer but cant be fucked with all night benders that leave me with glass sticking outta my side or an angry gf etc etc

Yeah the booze had got well out of order and then i noticed I'd crave loads of junky food in the day, the AD I'm on also reduces my appetite but it feels good not to have a great big gut sticking out there and having to make new hole in belts in the right direction !
 
Hahaha i got the exact opposite prob, all my recent clothes are huge, so im wearing things that are like 6 yrs old at least lol!

Haha pontifax :D thank you for getting permission.

Had clarification from snr staff - posting photos of other BLers without their permission is not allowed and is something we will intervene in; posting photos of non-BLers is out of our scope really. It would be impossible to find out if permission has been got from non members anyway. However, people may feel that it is not appropriate to post pics of anyone without their permission; I don't think I would do it. That is something for you guys to think about yourselves :)

Plus if you blank out photos of non-BLers you get to be creative with Photoshop, swirly faces and the like.
