Valium: All heroin at one time or another is acetate because of the GAA. Acetic Anhydride is the best GAA for this purpose because of time, ease, and it being less corrosive but any will do although other than AA, Acetyl Chloride is the only commerically used alternative.
Phrozen: In Asia, in Thailand, the best street heroin comes in little glass vials with colored tops. Most though are packaged in plastic srinking straws that have been melted on both ends.
In Cambodia it is sold in plastic corners, as in baggies that have been melted and/or twisted and knotted. I have not seen it packaged any other way there.
In India it is sold in paper folds in Mumbai but cannot say elsewhere because I do not know.
in Indonesia it is sold in plastic corners but I have heard of others saying they found it in straws as in Thailand.
In Europe I have bought it in Switzerland, Belgium, and the Netherlands and in each of those nations it was in plastic baggies, corners of baggies, and in Amsterdam in foil wraps, as in cigarette foil not tinfoil.
You know, I had not thought of it until now but perhaps the branding of heroin in NYC was coopted from SE Asian producers. Since the late 60s they have been branding their wholesale products. If you buy a Unit or more (unit being 700 grams, halves are available at 350 grams but I have not heard of them being branded) you find it almost always tamped with intricate logos. I have read, but not seen, that in Afghanistan they now brand theirs as well. Difference being that in SE Asia it is double bagged in heat sealed plastic befoire getting the final wrapper with the logo and SW Asia only having 1 sloppy bag and a paper wrapper.
In Pakistan the same as India and those are the only nations I have bought it in.
