Heroin Social: Version 6 (aka. Toot it up while you can)

Good luck with that Ructions, I hope you can kick it for good. I made the decision today to not get any more crack until things improve. The guy(s) I get it off say there's a drought on, that's why it's all so shit. I think of it as a waste of cash at the best of time so when it's rubbish I aint getting any of it.

Which led me to thinking - I bet the drug industry has lost soooo much money thru the H drought and now the W drought. I know of lots of folks as well as myself that've cut down lots/stopped just cos it's so shite. The end of the class A drug market???
 
Hi been lurking back on here for a month now, lapsed end of jan after 50 week break off the h, bit weird things being back to normal last time i rang this fella it everything was still fucked (dec 2010) mad to see all the old faces still on here but its nice tosee how you've all kept in touch, a rare case of something genuinely positive coming out the dark fog of addiction and hard drug use
 
Steve mate , I totally agree , it's wicked being able to come on B/L on talk with so many sensible gear heads.
I often wonder about smack craft ., he really did my swede in but I liked the little fucker , hope he went rehab and sorted his shit out.
 
other night a mate said to me "there are 2 kinds of gearheads.there's 'addicts' and 'bagheads'."
he doesn't know about BL
but in my mind the 2 kinds are those with enough stability in their life to have a computer with an internet connection and then there's those that don't-probably the same thing
a 'baghead' will steal from anyone,even their own family and do whatever it takes to get that score
an 'addict' will feed his habit as best as he can.He might do things he wouldn't otherwise do but there are limits he will not cross-however desperate.
I don't claim to be perfect and I work as an escort but I will not go bareback regardless of the ££ offered(plenty of other things that are not on my 'will do' list).Also,I will not steal from anyone that can't afford it-that's anyone other than shops.
I also spend money on food and groceries every week where a lotta folk I know spend that money on gear and eat at the church for free.
For many years I worked to feed my habit-times are hard now and I hate what I do to get money but if it's slow,I will never go and stand on some street-too dangerous and desperate.
I think things would be very different if I was using whites.
Maybe there are 3 types of gearheads afterall. 'addicts','bagheads' and people who use 'bs&Ws'
crack never really interested me-did it a few times and mates using the same were saying it was good shit-even made me puke so musta been ok,but just never saw the appeal of it.
If you are entrepreneurial you can manage a heroin habit,but aint anyone can legally afford a full on crack habit.
That stuff is the devils boogas
 
I guess I would fall under the addict type. Even though I've had a habit for over 10 years I've never stolen anything from anyone or anywhere.
I have always been lucky enough to work full time which pays for my habit.
But I do know bag heads who would steal from their best friend if given the chance. These are the types of addicts that make the public think of us all as dirty smackheads where some of us are just as honest as your average person.
 
Hi Kat, long time no chat hope ur ok i feel like a right prat back on b/l after all my evengelising i did the last time i was posting but its nice to be somewhere where u can be honest about ones troubles.

I suppose ive been all 3 of the types of user you describe at some point. The majority of my addiction i was reasonably stable and paid for it through work (addict?). However there were a couple of occasions when things got desperate that i did resort to stealing, of which believe you me im not proud (baghead?). At the moment im back dabbling here and there and as yet im not a full time dependant (person that uses b&w's)

I wudn't say things r quite 'back to normal', still high prices but better quality now at least.

I'm an addict that don't score when he's skint but affords his internet cos it's "free"!! lol. And I got backup plans to get online if the gravy train ever ends, I'd be lost without 'tinternet.

Acidtek. My mrs does a 6 day rapid metadone detox 2/3 time a year she finds it a piece of piss, I couldn't or (wouldn't want to) the only trouble she has is from a lack of sleep, but she sorts that out with some temazepam.
She does 25 mg fist day then 20,15, 10 two days on 5 mg
She suffers abit but nothing fucking terrible.
She calls me a pussy if I'm 8 hours in , I'm fucking suicidal, and getting ready to kill some cunt, I really don't know how she does it I'm in ore of her , she said the other day arfer you'v chucked a couple kids out a rattle aint she,
She Ain't got s playground habit either , we share our gear and easy do a teenth aday.
She tried a sub detox once but it give her high blood presher went through the roof she's more than happy going with the jollop ( fucking showoff) only jokeing , I'm well proud of her.
Give it a go son , nothing to loose ! Good luck

Far from my area of expertises, in fact I don't think I have one ! but why dos she detox 2/3 times a year, just seems a bit pointless if your just going to go back on the gear.

Not having a pop or anything just curious, tell me to fek off of its private
 
Why wouldn't she Want a break 2/3/4 times she doesn't like going on holiday with a habit , she does'nt like a habit during the school holidays , and Christmas + she likes to give her body a break occasionally.
Why would you find that odd , is your opionion of gear heads somthing out of fucking train spotting,or people living in squats, don't you think gear heads can have normal happy productive lives ?
She loves using gear , shes a kick boker ,she loves going to the gym , She loves have a few breaks throughout the year.
What do you find so odd or pointless about that ?

Before you bite my 'ead off mate, you gotta realise most non-addicts just see a life of misery when you mention Heroin !
They don't realise you can have a perfectly normal, productive life.

They think why go through all the hastle of gettin clean just to use again ? Yet as you've said your mrs enjoy's the gear , yet also likes the occasional break off of it .
Where as the likes of you & I couldn't manage 8 hours without whining like a little pussy ;-) .

Hope your well son , my man should be back on today or tomorrow so counting the hours as the stocks runnin low !

By 'back to normal' i mean chucking the contents of ones bag on the the plate and more often than not getting a decent twist in return. Also helps that I have next to no tolerance at the moment so Im having loads of those lovely instances where im coming to with the foil stuck to my face =D

We are all fiercely protective of our loved ones, and for someone (who dosnt even Know her)to suggest why not just stay a fucking a junkie upset me a Great deal.

No worries Strungout, just thought I'd jump in here as Kate is offline and didn't want you feeling like you're hanging and waiting for a response.

I think Kate only said play nice as a figure of speech, no malice in it from how I read it anyway. I see Kate post a lot and that's how I read her response just then.

On a side note, I totally get what you Mrs (sorry, I don't know if she's your wife or girlfriend) does with the occasional break from gear. When I was using more heavily a couple of years back I would come off for a while and then go back on when I fancied. I would often come off it for my Birthday for example, Christmas or any other special occasion that I wanted to enjoy. I found that this made the occasion / holiday more enjoyable and the gear nicer too when I came back to it. Stopped a full blown habit too for a long time.

I was so fucking jarred I only managed my 3rd post attempt ,(one thing iv lernt fromB/L is to try to be tolerant and respectful of people of fucking idiots,(sorry I mean people)

We life in a lovely village knowbody knows We use here and she's involved in several village/school events,she don't find her cluck hard or long and loves her clean time as much as her using.
I'm lucky enough to earn half decent money , enough to maintaing our village life ( the gear makes it all the better)
For me anyway.
Sorry im fucking rambling I'm almost off the booze and just didn't realise the evenings were this long ( or fun)
 
Oh Kkat,that's not what you or any of us on here wanted to hear.
That's probably the worst case scenario they told you.
I was up for GBH,ABH and common assault charges years ago and was told to expect 5-6 years but ended up with just over 3.5 years and I was out after 13 months.
So I know its hard not to but try not to worry too much mate.
 
Is he a good solicitor, Kat? Unless there's a lot more than you've detailed on here, I'd be most surprised if you got 3 years. A mature woman with the most minor form, small social dealing, under pressure to do a favour to a friend, so amateurish you send texts? Pablo Escobar it ain't. You need a legal team determined you receive a punishment appropriate to the crime and who'll ensure the judge sees everything in correct perspective. If the guidelines recommend time, to show the judge why you fit an exemption category.

You always want to believe your man is going to do the best for you but you need to analyse his whole performance in acute detail. If he comes up short, it's you who suffers. Fight, fight. fight! Your freedom is precious. If you've the slightest doubt, sack him and find another from the Release list. It's nothing personal and can't make your position worse. The one thing guaranteed to sink a drug defendant is a brief happy merely to go through the motions; if you even suspect you have one, lose him fast.

Remember nothing is set in stone yet.
