How did you find the gear this week Griffin? Any improvement at all? Or was it the same stuff that was going around over xmas? I scored off 2 different people to-day, i went over & scored on the South side this morning & then the bloke that lives near me got in touch so i scored off him too, they both had more or less the same gear, its the very same gear that was around over xmas, although the bloke from out my ways gear was kind'a gray rock, i got REALLY excited when i opened the bag!!!!

But both lots of gear were just the same old average drought gear.......
 
Gear CAN be smoked in a pipe. It gives a faster hit than foil, cus you can smoke the gear quicker.... plus all you have to carry around is a pipe. so it means you can smoke gear in a pub smoking area like i do. %)

Put some metal gauze in pipe, have it as compact as possible.

Then put a bit of gear on the gauze.

VERY gently put the flame onto gear, it will 'melt' into the gauze.

then turn pipe 90 degress or even 180. this is so the gear doesnt go through the gauze and collect in the pipe.

next have flame and move it over the gauze, keep the flame moving, and give time to cool down. DONT leave it over the gauze, as you will burn gear.

try and let the pipe and gauze cool down, as much as you can.

if when you take flame away, and you have inhaled, smoke arises from gauze, this means you are burning the gear.

it takes a bit of getting used to how much you put the flame over the gear..... but it works.

Hi Watsons! :) You have done so SOoooo well not to use heroin in 18months!!! Good for you!!!! :) Would you not stick with it? A good few people seem to be getting good gear in the UK now, but they all say that there is still a lot of bash around as well, think of how disappointed you'll be if you end up scoring crappy weak gear?!

The foil is the best way to smoke it, you'll get used to it very quickly, but maybe see if you can make it to 20months without using heroin! Now that really would be a great accomplishment!!! :)

hey rutiscons :), I Don't and have never had a habit.. only use it say once every 6 months and i've only taken an 18 month break due to the drought, apparently got some good stuff and with no opiate tolerance I don't think it will take much to get me where i want to be, but i remember wasting a lot last time on foil, i might just make a massive funnel shaped tooter to make sure i get all the smoke.

after this little smoke, i'll leave it again for another 6 months.
 
one gauze were the gauze normally goes, and then i find it usful to put one inside the pipe, just in case some gear does leak in, it gets caught by that.

its how I first started smoking gear, quite a lot of my older mates used it, as they had DVT. but they disliked using foil.

its not difficult to stop it going down the hole, the gauze is wire wool type stuff,..... so its easy to stop it going down the hole, just tilt in 70-90 degrees.
 
ah it doesnt, iv tried it in smokes when iv had low tolerance, complete waste in my meger opinion.
 
Any other method of smoking substances are extremely wasteful when it comes to smoking gear.
It'll just take a bit of practice really Watson :) You'll get the hang of it.

can you not get someone with experience to run it for you it is rather easy
1place gear on foil maybe half A POINT TO GET USED TO IT
2burn the gear first lightly without inhaling so it is in beetle form
3put your tooter in your mouth then hold your plate about 2-4 inchs at the most from mouth
4 heat the foil while tilting it at a slight angle and suck hard but just do half a run at a time you will get used to it i expect
 
Regarding methadone prescription - I see it as a good thing if people know the good and bad of it beforehand. I've tapered off it before and been clean for a few months and I've stabilised on it and held a job down for nearly 10 years.

My folks keep banging on about how I shud be off it but what's really so bad about taking some every day? Just the visits to the chemist for me.
 
I agree with hooks , There fuck all wrong with methadone , it helped me turn my life around completely from being a chaotic user ,to being stable and building a decent life for myself.

Subbys are sweet for a detox (much better than jollop) but I wouldn't want to be maintained on them because I want to use.

EDT..... hooks I don't know if your still on daily pick up, but when they put me back on it , I told them it was stoping me taking work. And got it changed back, straight away !

All this chat about DF or DHC prescribing reminded me about a time when it was standard policy in my area to give folk low dose methadone n benzos as opposed to high dose Methadone & Methadone amps ,it was one ofthe worst thing that ever happened to me. I was dandy on IM Physeptone and not using any gear , granted i would sometimes use cyclazine as well to create a Dicanol like feeling but never benzos.

Well when it all changed to low dose oral methadone & Benzos thats when my problems really started.
It only took a few months of this treatment to get me addicted to benzos n get prescribed stupid amounts on weekly pick up , after a couple of years i had manipulated a script so high that one of the surgery partners noticed & i was discharged from treatment at that surgery.

I contacted the local health authority & they put me with asurgery in a really impoverished area of the city where they had loads of addicts & because of so many Methadone related Deaths they would only prescribe DfS , i still kept my benzo script but after having Methadone for a number of years using DFs to maintain was inefective thus i just took the script cashed it in & built a handsome collection of DFs i had over 400 at one point .

They only had a 30p street value n no one wanted em anyway !!
Luckily i managed to find Methadone maintenance again , but this time from the loca;l DSP which turned in to a nightmare in the end but thats another story.

Conclusion DF maintenance didn't work for me or anyone else at that surgery . You couldn't give the things away at that time .

They do have a place in short term dtox from Heroin though because of the regular dosing pattern , you can get on em straight away with no titrating of dose & they are straight easier to come off than Methadone.
These are just my experiences btw .

I had a df script 10 years ago or so but i maintained a habit and rarely took them. Then one weekend I went away actually it was NYE and I thought i would go away without gear and just take the df's - fuck me i was taking handfulls of them 10 every few hours just to stop the bad cluck- still couldnt sleep and had the bad back - soooo glad when i got back to London.
btw moonstoodle they do have a short 1/2 life but diazepam is about 300h
 
smoke gear in a pipe is not a waste...... I have argued it to death so I doubt I can really be bothered to go much further than it works the same as tin foil, but faster.

If you aint tried it fine, just dont say it doesnt bloody work..... cus until you try the CORRECT method, your just speaking out for no reason.
 
Heres a question I have asked on many forums some with posters with degrees in chemistry but i have never had a definintive answer it is quite simple, what exactly is the substance that collects in yer tooter? any organic substance you burn will leave a tar residue, there is some form of opiate in it but what else? a mars bar to anyone who can answer (with citation).

No is there a one called reachout ya the gear up there is the same as before xmas had some gray stuff before xmas 2010 but it was shit came for liverpool got it in dublin and galway

It's just heroin, slightly purer than the gear on the foil you started with because a lot of the crap has been left behind as you run it, but it's exactly the same stuff in exactly the same form. You're not burning heroin when you chase it remember, you're vapourising it, so it's not a tar residue or an oxide or anything like that. Solid turns to liquid when heated and then vapour when it boils, some of that condensing back out when it hits a cold surface like the tooter you're pulling it through and sticking to it. Can't give you a citation but not sure one's needed? It's that straight-forward.

obviously not as I have smoked many types of 'gear'(mostly bash),throughout the drought that have left no residue on the tooter
but then maybe,in time,they would-like nicotine stains your curtains and wallpaper

*when I started smoking gear,I used a pipe a few times with a friend-we would put tin foil over the bowl of the pipe with pin holes in it kinda like when you make a crack pipe-and smoke as people have already described on here
