Heroin Heroin Mega Thread and FAQ

Wow I've been laying in bed conscious but in a sort of suspended dream like state since my last post, I only snapped out of it because I'm very thirsty right now. This reminds me very much of Oxymorphone, I really see how easy it would be to become an addict, Heroin (and Oxymorphone) are pure bliss and pleasure.
 
mmmmm i get to try the pure bliss of heroin soon again. haven't touched a needle in 6 months, but that boy is calling me. heroin is one crazy addiction. i mean i used to think i had self discipline and control until i started fucking around with the needle. Oxymorphone, you best just stick to snorting once in a while. i finally get to fuck around with the good shit! raw dope from the east coast!

Oxymorphone, i know you don't know anything about heroin, but you need to stop acting like heroin is so much worse than oxymorphone or cocaine.

I do oxymorphone and cocaine, but oh no, i just did heroin! i can't believe i just did this horrible drug! agh!

When I did the oxymorphone I didn't know how serious it was, when I fealt what it did and read that it was comparable to Heroin I knew it was serious, that's why I keep grouping them together when I talk about H, it really does feel almost the same. I did the oxymorphone last year so I can't give a much more accurate description and they are crazy drugs.

However I still do think cocaine is less 'hardcore' or bad as either of the two. There is much more addiction potential with opiates and opioids from a physical standpoint in general and for my personality. I just snapped out of it after nodding off for a while and maybe sleeping for part of it, it's hard to distinguish the difference sometimes. It's been 7 hours snce i did the heroin and I think it has worn off by now. I won't be doing it again anytime soon. In the meantime I have like 4-5grams of coke I got today that I want to make last a while.
 
^The problem i have isn't with you grouping them together, that is fine, they could be grouped together in a sense, since they are both potent opioids, but you act like heroin is so much worse than oxymorphone, and that both are way worse than cocaine.

Also, how are they "crazy drugs"? What is crazy about them?

I believe the reason you think heroin/oxymorphone are more "hardcore" is because of the stigma that they have, which is bullshit by the way.

Of course there is more addiction potential with opioids than cocaine. Cocaine isn't even physically addicting, its all mental. But that doesn't mean that opioids are more addicting or worse just because they cause physical dependence as well. Cocaine has a much stronger mental addiction than opioids IMO. People usually become addicted to cocaine quicker than they would on opioid drugs, but this varies greatly depending on the person.

Another thing, cocaine is also much much worse on the body than opioids. It is cardiotoxic and neurotoxic and is really bad on the heart and is corrosive to the veins when injected as well. Opioids are very benign substances that are very easy on the body overall.

It seems to me that you are trying to justify your cocaine use by saying the opioids are "crazy" drugs and wayy more addicting and such. You say you won't touch opioids for a while, yet your about to do more cocaine soon. That is the crazy thing IMO.
 
Alright point taken, however I never said Oxymorphone was worse than Heroin, ever, or even implied it. I would say they are on the exact same level as each other.

About the cocaine, I said I owuld od more because I have it, and no physical addiction potential is a big thing and after doing Heroin last night I want to do it again and again but I won't. When you're on an opiate hih you sit there and do nothing. At least while on coke you cold be productive or do something. The last time I did coke for a steady month period I was getting up, having a normal day, doing my work better than ever, and still getting high. I stopped when I realized how much money I wasted and that it wasn't worth it, so i just stopped and it wasn't an issue. If it was opiates or opioids I wouldn't have been able to stop so easy and probably wold have severely fucked up my life in that time frame.

I would trade all my cocaine I have right now for heroin in a heartbeat or sell it if I could, I said I would do more because I spent too much money and have it. I just did a line and it just burned my nose, maybe it's a bad cut but after a couple more I'm not high where I would be floating on H.
 
Well u just contradicted urself there. U said u would never touch it again but then u go on saying "i would change my coke for h in a heartbeat" but IMO coke is sooooooo much hardcore than h ever was. Um the last time I did coke and have not touched it since and hopefully never. I was naked in the middle of the highway running into traffic. I think I told this story either on my dairy or a drug adventure forum somewhere in this website. So yeah def imo coke is much more hardcore than any opiates mainly bc of the stuff it makes me do and think about very paranoid n shit and I DETEST having paranoia ahhhh it's da worst thing in the world!!!! sorry peeps I'm On My iPod touch so U'll have to excuse the grammar if any hehe

hey fellow dopers. just a quick question, What sort of drugs do normal addiction clinics test for?
This clinic I go to in toronto for my methadone specializes in a whole lot of drugs, all the way from heroin to tobacco.

Im currently taking methadone for maintenance and get a urine test every week, I was just wondering if they test for morphine and heroin metabolites only(since i was addicted to H)? Or would they test for everything from pot to oxycodone to methamphetamines?

I would suspect thatd they test for oxycodone, dillies and crack because all these are really big here in Canada, but it's just a wild guess. Id also really like to know if they test for pot because I havnt smoked in ages and would really like to take a rip but I'm afraid of them extending the time before I get my take homes so before I know for sure I'm not takign any chances...
Anyways, Im on ritalin so I should stop typing, otherwise it would turn into an essay.

I never said that you said "oxymorphone is worse than heroin". I said that you implied that heroin was somehow worse than both oxymorphone and cocaine. Read my post again.

About opioids only making people sit there and do nothing/nod off. That right there shows just how naive you are when it comes to opioids. Only new users nod off all the time and can't do much, and sometimes even new users don't even do that. I've seen novices shoot up heroin and act like they were on cocaine or something, and i've seen them do the opposite and nod off. Experienced users with a tolerance don't just nod off, they become well after using and it gives them the energy to go through their day easily. Opioids have stimulating properties as well as sedating properties.
 
Hi people :) Im on long term methadone maintainence but have still been using heroin intermittently, currently a couple of times a week.
Tonight i used about .2 iv'd. I had a strange reaction. The hit was really really intense,all my body tingling. Im not complaining about that but aswell i began to start shaking violently and my hand (not on the arm i iv'd in) and my lips swelled up. I just felt really wrong. It was scary, Ive never felt like that before in 7 years of iv-ing heroin.
This all happened about 3hrs ago. I feel ok now. I saved .1 for bed but not sure if i should have it!
Has anyone experienced anything like this. Any suggestions as to what coulda caused this reaction?
I'd be grateful for any opinions :)
 
Alright it's been 72 hours since I did heroin. I want to do it again, but I don't want to become an addict.

I know heroin lends itself to addiction but who out there can take it recreationally amd what do you do to enjoy the power of H yet not get dependant?

I have more than an 8-ball of coke at home (spent the weekend with GF out of town) and it doesn't interest mne. I spent wayyyy too much money on it for the weak high and nasal burn I got but this dealer has solid H. I don't know what I should expect to pay for a bag or bundle of H in NYC and the price thread wasn't helpful. I got tipped off several hundred in one day on coke but the one wax stamped bag of H I got with it was a life experience.

How do I negotiate with dealers (one who I gave over 500 to in one day) to get a fair price on H bags?

I will never shoot up, so what other precautions and dose spaxcng rules should I make for myself so I can mange things on my own?

Also, I take 1mg klonopin and emg xanax a day on average. If I drink I'll skip doeses so I have a lot extra and will sometimes imndulge so am wondering what is safe to mix with H? Thanks.
 
I have a question:

The other day me and my girl were shooting, and I ended up shooting a syringe full of dope that she had already shot some, so her blood was in it (stupid I know but fuck me). What is the danger of this, other than the regular danger of sharing needles?
 
Hey guys,

RX'd Oxy 80 mg (x3 a day) and Percocet (x4 a day). Last weekend I had the opportunity to purchase some Powdered (light brownish) Fire from a friend/dealer who has never had anything but TAR.

Anyway, I bought half a gram with the intent of insuffulating and not taking my last couple dosages of pain killers.

BOY was I glad. I ended up nodding so hard I couldn't even be moved into bed, better yet get up myself and get into bed.

My question is: is this experience TYPICAL of a moderate-heavy opiate user (painkillers only) who sometimes abuses his meds (like removing time coating from my OXY RX)

I was destroyed, extremely high and non-functional (I felt great).

Was this stuff cut with something? Was it just very PURE heroin? I have access to the stuff now as my buddy/connect and this guy started doing business and would like some HARM REDUCTION advice about using this stuff again in concert with my RX'd meds.

If its still bubbling, there's still something there. I hope you aren't letting it burn in a pool in one place; you need to keep the tar moving while you light/inhale it (chasing the dragon). When its done it'll leave a burnt trail, some shit that won't burn (the amount depends on how its cut), and no more smoke will come off. Also, don't hold the lighter too close, keep the flame from touching the foil. You'll know if you have it too close because it will leave "shit stains" (soot, burn marks) on the bottom of the foil.
