why is this thread not just part of the heroin thread ? shirley it could have been a poll like they do in the American Heroin threads,
just a observation like
 
^You can't make a poll, need to get a mod to do it. An EADD mod :p (don't want to step on toes now). Report the first post and I'm sure it'll be done in good time.

Yeah, I don't actually mind the idea of a Drr. It'll be a pain in the arse, but I need some sort of discipline at the moment. I'm possibly going into 14 days inpatient detox too, I want to be clean before Christmas. Fingers crossed.
 
I hope your "not as bad as you lot" comment is in jest pontifex! As Iming k is not any beter! But a big congratulation for being clean for three weeks, I believe it's a genuine achievement, take care matey
 
I wish I could go weeks without using :|

I sorta look down on some alcoholics, not because of their addiction, but they were the ones who always got the Wild Goose closed down for a day!!!! having fights and the like.

Well, I have been known to utter the words "I'm off to see a man about [a] horse" when asked where I heading off to at 12:30am by a drunken mother. I'm almost honest to a fault, I guess - just dont like to lie (as my recent ventures into regular benzo use have messed up my short term memory thus any fucking chance I have of remembering any lies I make anyway), and so with a little bit of word play I dont have to ;)

I know I'll never shoot up; I'd have well done it by this stage if had ever been an even vague possibility. Now having said that, I was close at one stage - my friend had the needle in my arm but I pulled out. I could picture myself croaking it and him probably pulling a swift legger, leaving me lying on the floor of a tomb in a local graveyard we used for quite a time (and still occasionally do should the urge arise). Sure I wouldnt have been found for days, if not weeks.

I'm interested in other methods as long as they both don't involve needles or pose any greater a risk than tooting.

The Wild Goose is MUCH better now it's moved to its new premises though. There is much less trouble. I actually live a 1 min walk away from the old one, it used to be really intimidating going in there on some occasions, and stranglers would always be hanging around on the street. Thnew one feels totally different.

It is annoying how they do totally shut the place down as soon as there is one hint of trouble, but also it works very well as the place ends up policing itself, as soon as there is any hint of trouble, the service users often speak up first to nip it in the bud before the staff have even noticed.

Any 'junkie' able to post the going scrap metal price for a road sign?
 
I lived next to the wild goose as well. The old one was a bit annoying to life next to with the food left on the food. Good ol' City Road.

Yeah the new Wild Goose is brilliant, food is really nice, cant remember the man guy who owns it, but he is well sound, and you feel much more comfortable in there as well....... but maybe that cus i started to know people there!

A road sign, is it an old one, so if it has rust that's bad. cus I thought they were made out of plastic for a while now..... but no matter.

I only ever got a set cut from scrap. cus I was young, so im not going to sprout prices!

Charlie at the weekend scrap was goin at , lead =90p a kilo , copper £4 = kilo & ally 75p = key.
I run a load in saterday and got my crimbo gear money , the prices go up and down everyday so I took it, as copper was good and so was the gear.

The manager is called Pete. He is sound as a pound and an absolute angel. I ran out of money for electric, and was really stuck. I'd gone two days with no electric. He gave me a fiver to top up my meter. He said that money is not a personal possession, but is to be shared amongst those who need it.
