Heroin: How many toot and how many shoot?

Can't stand the taste so the pin is the preferred method.

Though I barely touch the stuff. I got a job to hold down and the self harm aspect of IV'ing gets me all depressed.
I sincerely never want to go near the pin ever again. (Or diamorphine & cocaine for that matter!).
 
Always been a tooter , allthough i hit up a few times early on I never stuck at it (thank fuck) the first few years of using were quite hectic, i wasn't really workin therefor putting myself on offer to pay for my gear.
But the last 12 years been in full time employment so kept myself well out of shit that useually goes with heroin.
I have plugged gear a few times last few months , it's been the only way to get a dunt of the low grade gear. I wouldn't want to do it all the time but its a safer option to a hit IMO.
Now the gears good again I'm happy smoking it.
 
I always thought that the term junkie was derived from junk a slang term for heroin in the US from the 1920's, but as the man said the thing about folk etymology is that it is almost always wrong.
 
Toot, but have tried the other way & it is an almighty rush, that's why people do it that way, so i'm told!

but i do enjoy a smoke...the gradual feeling coming on.. and also i like to be in control,
 
I love the smoke.. I smoked a lot of opium in India but I couldnt co-ordinate myself with all
that burning business and chasing smoke on tin foil. I was a serial offender so my partner did the honours for me :)

Then the peacocks would call their mates...There were a few donkeys milling about too and a straggly haired beggar of about 8 with
no shoes. We contemplated the night and stars together silently for half hour or so then went back about our business. .


When Heroin has been on offer in England I buy some but I no longer have a private burner so I barely even get a nod

The traditional explanation is the name derives from New York jazz age heroin addicts paying for their habits by collecting scrap metal and other junk people threw away. Can't see how that spread worldwide, maybe an 'official version'.

A dictionary of slang offers dozens of nicknames for heroin. But addicts aren't called smackers, henrys or even heroes. Funny stuff.
 
i've only done the horse twice. the first time i actually snorted it, thinking this was a safer ROA than smoking (durr, its not), which my mate chose to do. i felt very nice actually, but he was lying on the bed groaning and sighing and mumbling, "aye, that's smack like."

the second time i smoked it, but it was 2 bags shared between 5 people and i had a tolerance to 400mg dhc or 150mg morph. i went first of our gang and WOW! it hit instantly, but wore off faaarr to quickly. we deffo should have bought more, as my chums with no tolerence felt very little, as they were smoking less than i due to caution and bad technique (my technique was pretty shitty too). the guy who got it was warned it was really strong--never listen to a dealer.

i'd quite like to try plugging as is would be as close to IV or IM as i'd ever get; i dont think i'd ever have the balls to stick myself with a needle due to the potential health issues.

anyway thats my fiddy-pee: snorting works, but i think i'd choose smoking or plugging if i was to to it again. i'd much rather get my hands on a few oxynorms tharr.

oh, and smoking opium that i harvested from alongside motorways was fun, and delicious too.

AH!! I like that Charlie, I like it a lot!! From now on, I'm going to describe myself as a 'Hero', and if anyone asks I'll say it's the new slang term for a Heroin user. If it catches on, we could redefine our status in society. Hero is about the most noble thing you could wish to be!
 
In my earlier days of using, I used to snort (brown) heroin, and always found it to be quite a good ROA for me. Strange, when you consider the low bioavailability this method offers, with brown. Snorting is convenient too, if u were sat waiting in ur mrs car for her imminent return, for instance, and were still keeping up the facade of being an undetected user! For me it was always comparable to smoking, it's been a long old time since I last tried it though. May give it a go when I next get some kit, if its good tackle that is.
 
I always snort mainly because the taste makes me gag and I don't used pins anymore. Snorting has always been a very good roa for me reguardless of the bioavailability, it gets me nicely nicely of a bag, it might be worth mentioning that I don't have a tolerance at the moment though.
 
I love the taste of gear, so but I can understand those who dont. But I cant see how sniffing brown is anymore pleasant, its not painful to sniff gear, but the drip backs are TERRIBLE, and wasteful.

I sniffed the once or twice, but I got a reaction to it in my nose, so dont sniff, unless I had no option!
 
Yes the taste is bad but it's over a lot more quickly, don't get me wrong inured to enjoy a smoke but not anymore. Also snorting is not a waste if you have your technique down, the key is not to inhale too hard! It doesn't really matter if you waste a little if you don't have a habit, anyway what works for some may not for others
 
Urgh, just the thought of tasting gear now makes me wretch. I couldn't go back to smoking now for that reason. I was clucking the other day, and my mate offered me a couple of lines from his beetle to hold me til I sorted something out, it was my first anything of the day, i'd not even had a cuppa and the tastewas disgusting, I was only able to tolerate it as I was feeling so crap.

I've even gone off smoking white as I'm so used to doing snowballs. I like the taste of crack though, as long as it's through a decent pipe with gauze, and not old fag ash on top of tin foil.
 
That's like me cherry, I went to the needle and I've never been able to smoke since! The taste of crack is lovely! It's good to see you around lovely, I hope all goes the best in can when your in court, a drr can be boring but if you go into it in the right frame of mind it can be a blessing in disguise
 
Urgh I agree, using ash as a gauze is fucking HORRIBLE.

Also I smoke my b's in a pipe with gauze not from tin foil..... it taste's much better..... off tin foil aint nearly as good.

Yeah i love the taste of good gear as well!!! :) it used to make me sick, but now i associate the taste of gear with feeling well! At this stage i'm just so used to it, although in the last year its become a distant memory! But i've never snorted gear, not the gear we get! I'll save that for a visit to the USA!

I really worry about people who have only started using heroin in the last 12 months, they have no idea of how strong heroin was before the drought. There are still an lot of long term users that say they haven't been able to get the same strength heroin as before the drought. In Dublin the heroin is only half the strength of whet it was, & there are similar reports from the UK. There is a pretty scary story story of a long term heroin user on the Drought thread were he got so excited when he got good that he shoot up & he ended up in hospital. Only his girlfriend was there he could have died.

So be careful folks, have a toot first, especially if your new to the game! Don't assume that you have it all sussed out! Be safe! :)
 
I would say the average gear off some token street dealer is about half as strong, but if you have good connection it can be as normal. I would say my man has it pretty much sorted has done for a while. One other kiddie keeps on coming out for a couple of weeks with 8/10 stuff, then going away for a week, but I cant fault him if is supply is spordic.

but I still wouldnt trust things to go back to being 100% confident in using ever day.
