I really hope u didn't shoot it, you can get fucking HIV or hep-c from sharing a spoon he stuck the needle he stuck in his arm in. plus you will probably get so high from snorting it you'll be puking your guts out.

I am not even going to do the whole don't shoot it lecture.. jumping straight to IV use is simply crazy and irrational. What advice do you expect to get here on a harm reduction board? No one will advocate that.

To me, teh bigger concern is you shooting some left over solution in a spoon. You clearly have zero knowledge of IV use to even consider that. I hope you didn't do it..or you know for a fact your friend doesn't have hep c or aids or anything of the sort. You should NEVER EVER reuse ANYTHING another IVer is using. Shooting part of their left over shot? You might as well share pins or fuck him bloody in the ass with no condom. If there is even a slight microscopic trace of hep c in his spoon there is ahigh chance you will transfer that into your bloodstream.

Heroin is a hard drug.. why would you go straight to IV use? Aside from addiction, you are begging for something major to go wrong man like an overdose.

I want to try heroin but i was planning on snorting it my dude cant get any till tomorrow but hes got a tiny bit left over in a spoon from his shoot. Should I just mainline the shit? Im just scared of the addictive rush I know I wont get addicted snorting it but shooting is a whole different story Ive never shot up before...

How do you know that? That is neive and going in thinking that is a recipe for disaster. None of us dope addicts wanted to get addicted. We all felt in control. What makes you different? Do you have superhuman willpower? The drug is physically and mentally addictive. It's proven.. why in teh world would you consider your self to be excluded from that?

Shooting up the first time you ever do heroin is like driving a Lamborghini the first time you get behind the wheel of a car. Sure it can do 0-60 in like 4 seconds, but if you haven't practiced driving first in an average car to get a feel for how to drive, you are likely to get yourself killed. You've gotta get a lot of driving time in a regular car before you even think about upgrading to a Lamborghini. You can't enjoy a Lamborghini if you wreck it right away.

What the guy above me said. He's absolutely right. There is no reason to shoot heroin the first time you do it. If you've never done heroin, a small bump should get you a good little rush, if it's decent quality anyways. I don't condone using drugs, but don't shoot heroin for your first time, it's diving into something too deep and intense, and you'll probably end up being comatose, or dead by the time you can even take the needle out of your arm. And that's real.

Obviously idealy you should never share a needle...and I'm not saying "hey if you share a needle with someone with aids its ALL good"...fuck no...all I'm saying is it HAS been proven that if you use bleach to clean a needle it does kill most virus's and bacteria. Someone else here heard of it as well...if you don't believe me look it up pretty much anywhere or look on the back of the next bag of BD syringes you get.

Just because you never heard of it doesn't mean it isn't correct. And maybe you SHOULD clean your tattoo kit...no? I personally clean it out with boiling water after the bleach but if you don't you'll be fine. The amount left over after you clean it out is so minor it's pretty much harmless. But I suggest a good one over with boiling water...two over actually...just to be safe. But ideally...just use a fucking clean syringe!

I agree don't do it. If you want to try it and it's your first time, snort it. Crush it up with a Benny, dormin, or sleepinol - half and half to be 'safe' if you don't know how strong it is. It burns but then you're fine as its a pain killer. Give a little line a try, then another after about 10 mins until you find a tolerant dose. Be careful and don't IV everyone I know regrets starting that and it's never recommended your first time.

But that has a good chance of being contaminated...it's not very safe to shoot something that's touched utensils that could potentially have not been clean.

I'm just saying...if your a hxc junkie like I was...you have no money..not even a dollar...are out osmewhere, retarded sick, and no other ROA is going to work and you decide (even against all rational though) you MUST use a friends syringe..at the very least do that. It's just an advice in HR if your ever in that spot...but OP should avoid all this and just NEVER IV. Honstly...you should never do dope but if yuo are...stay sniffing it. Slam dancing is a whole new games that my liver and veins hate me for.
