Opioids Heroin first time, should i shoot?

I want to try heroin but i was planning on snorting it my dude cant get any till tomorrow but hes got a tiny bit left over in a spoon from his shoot. Should I just mainline the shit? Im just scared of the addictive rush I know I wont get addicted snorting it but shooting is a whole different story Ive never shot up before...
 
Don't shoot it. You can squirt the solution into your nose by drawing it up into a syringe, ripping the tip off, and putting a little bit in each nostril. Make sure to use a new syringe though, and only use the solution if he used a new syringe to draw his shot up. Diseases like hepatitis can be spread by sharing the spoon.

You can get addicted to heroin with any ROA. I sniff heroin and am addicted.
 
Don't IV for your first time man..especially not somebody else's left over crap. Get used to how it feels via snorting or smoking first..get your body accustomed to it, (that is if you really feel compelled to do it in the first place), and then decide if you want to work your way into fixing. Then, have someone show proper technique, someone whose been around the block so you don't turn your arm into an infected pin cushion.

For first time user though...a deffinate bad idea. A experienced user can judge better and gets to know his connection...maybe yourl ucky and got the best dope in town? Turns out your not so lucky after all. Maybe you didnt get dope but a bag of nesquick...you sniff it, feel dumb...no biggy.

Im getting it from a past heroin addict but we negotiated and he said hed let me shoot it into my nose. Its some dark im gettin a no prices bag of china tomorrow tho

And even though I think its a mistake to even try it (from a current addict) I am very glad your doig a solution. EVen boofing it is a nice choice. I feel like if you sniff it with water youll drip most ofi t down your throat. Even chasing the dragon.. Theres alot of ways to do it.
 
Don't use drugs that have touch anything someone used to prep a shot. That spoon might have hepatitis C on it.In some cities almost all slammers have hepC. You can catch it even if you snort/plug it. I'd wait.
 
For those planning to simply try it out, snorting would be better than injecting it. With snorting, you have a less of a chance to get addicted so just try it out and don't come back to it. Unless it's in quite a while.
 
Rumor...sniffing is just as dangerous addiction wise. Disease is the problem with IV.

As for the spoon...a simple 30 second bleach washing to be sure. Bleach even kills aids out ouf the body. Proven.

it depends on ur tolerance and what other opiates u are used to doing. i was snorting oxy and swtiched to heroin back in the day and i snorted it the first time and felt same as oxy no surprise ind of figured. my first time shooting it was waytoo overwhelming, i had someone with me, soon as the rush hit me i was so overwhemled i couldnt stand and was scared i was gonna overdose but i was relieved it was just the rush, i was high literally ALL DAY, needed less bags to use verse snorting.but IVing became VERY addicting
 
ROA and drug addiction aside, DON"T EVER use someones cooker, cotton, needle,water, or even anything that has been touched by someone else's needle and/or prep utensils(i.e. dipping into same water container). Once used, they are contaminated.

Bleaching takes about 5 - 10 minutes to do right. And you can only bleach out a needle and/or cooker. Once the solution has been made, you cannot add bleach to that.

(If it's already contaminated and it's gonna be done regardless, add a little ethanol/IPA to the solution and micron filter. This will reduce chance of a bacterial infection, but is still highly risky since alcohol is not a great antiviral + viruses are hundreds of times smaller than micron filters. )

This is good information. Make sure to have someone with you when injecting any drug for the first time. When I popped my needle cherrry, my roomate shot me up while i was standing. The rush was so intense that I fell down (luckily onto a bed).

and yes, never share cottons, spoons, syringes or water, no matter how much you trust the person.

I also want to add that the rush from heroin is not worth the almost inevitable addiction to needles that will follow. If I had never I.V'd I'd be in a much different place right now. I try to look at my past mistakes and near death experiences as lessons, but the needle is a powerful thing. It's as if it becomes an extention to your body as well as your soul
 
get ready to throw your life away for x years or forever. im not fucking around. i know by HR standards i should tell you the safest way if you are bent on it, but my dude, YOU ARE MOST LIKELY going to fuck your life up really fucking badly. think about it. this is probably the worst decision you could make in your entire life. even fucking a girl with aids with a condom on would be better. damn. i just dont want you to die like all my friends have or end up homeless like i was. shit aint no joke. take some vicodin or something.

if you are going to do it though, just bleach the rig....if there is not new one, and squirt it up your ass. when you are done, give me a call with your address so i can come over and beat the shit out of you. i kid i kid. it's just you could potentially be fucking yourself so so hard and not even know it.
 
I would snort it, especially first time. I did it 4 or 5 times after being a heavy oxy user, always wanted to shoot it but never did. Snorting also made sense to me because I didn't have to worry how clean everything was, finding a vein, etc. Just be careful, and be clean.

You will get addicted snorting it. Don't snort or shoot the left over suff from someone elses spoon/works!

Please don't shoot. Virtually everyone I know who has started has regretted it.

Take a look at the IV complications and case studies megathreads for an idea why.. needle-fixation too, as zneg said - that is the biggest issue for me since my IV use became problematic.

Do NOT NOT NOT use someone else's leftovers. Don't use leftovers period - bacterial growth can contaminate it. The risks are absolutely not worth it.

You absolutely can still get addicted snorting though, so don't assume you are safe in that respect. The advantages of snorting over shooting are primarily safety, and also you have more of a chance to keep your doses down.
