No Way, IV injects are way better for your body alaround. And what is skinpoppin but a missed shot?

I used to shoot up IM style because it was faster to do than look for a vein(on account of being mildly overweight. I never had ANY negative problems with this method and in fact I did not know it was referred to as "skin popping", I thought that was something different(subcutaneous). I have mainlined before but found it to be a pain in the ass to hit a vein and often had to enlist the help of a friend to find one for me. I once shot up into a vein that ran along my gut, just under my bitch tit. For me,and this is only my opinion, I never thought that there was much of a difference in the 2 other than a faster come up. Iv is nice though, I just found IM to be easier for me.johanneschimpo said:The only people I've ever met who skin-popped were:

*ill-informed
*plain ol' stupid
*fat (can't find veins)
or any combination of the above.
edit: I'd like to emphasize that I don't mean offense to anybody who skin pops by saying this.
papasomni said:someone who skin pops usually does so because their veins are scarred or collapsed. The process takes a log time to do properly. my friend would just let the rig hang on the side of his arm and every few minutes, he would reach down and push the plunger in just a little bit more. he would wait a while and then repeat until the rig was empty. If he had veins, hw wouldn't be doing it at all. its not safer. its far more dangerous.
No that's not what I'm saying. I'll word it differently. I was saying that if my friend had veins, he wouldn't be skin popping at all because it is much more dangerous. He would be IVing.chrisinabox said:i'm not sure i understand what you are saying. are you saying that IM is safer than IV? if so, you are completely wrong. injecting drugs into your veins is much safer than doing it into your muscle. injecting into the muscle causes infections and sometimes worse.
