Herkinorin: New extremely potent opioid w/ unusual properties

Niandra LaDes said:
oh and AO, you really dont have to be a dick to be cool, FYI.

Well FYI, its real fuckin annoying when people ask the same questions over and over and over again in almost every single thread. Ever read the warning on the forum front page under the "Other Drugs" link?? Thats warning people who post ignorant, repetitive shit that they will be bitched at. And 3-4 years ago, this place used to be a lot more intolerant and heavy handed.. back when PhreeX was runnin the show. And with good reason, its a waste of space, energy, and conversation talking about the same topics over and over again.

With that said, to the OP i bitched at- i do apologize. I took the anger and annoyance i have for the more ignorant part of the BL community out on you. I realize you probably just skipped over some parts.. So no hard feelings.

And god dammit!! Its my thread!! I'll bitch at whoever i want to! =D

I wouldn't trust a wikipeida article with such a new substance..

Anyone have some documented sources of research thats not wikipedia?

Actually yes, i checked out most the sources wikipedia linked to and everything was consistent and legit (except for one thing, see below). I've also seen some other online information on it, theres a link in ADD's old herkinorin thread w/ a really good--but advanced--source.

So i've been meaning to post some more sources in here, but i haven't had the time... i'll get around to it sooner or later though. There is a decent amount of information out there on this chemical despite it being very, very new.

Oh and also... for those of you who are interested: The original wiki article says that herkinorin is synthesized from salvinorin B (which they say was synthesized from salvinorin A, but it is clearly not. Salvinorin B is a diterpene naturally found in Salvia). But, checking out some of wiki's citation-sources, i've learned that...

Herkinorin is NOT synthesized from salvinorin B, its synthesized from salvinorin A

I wonder how they synthesized this compound...basically removed a methyl group and added an aromatic ring. A hydrogen group is also missing from around where the cyclopentane is bonded.

Anyone got any ideas on how this is made?

ETA: Added little summaries of these molecules to my neuropharmocology photobucket page :)

Thanks for the visual aspect Mr Blonde, 'preciate it.

It would seem like you're spot on, but as you asked --> How the hell is it made?? lol

I'm curious too as to what effects this chemical compound could bring for us BLers!! :p

you can't get any pm's man being a greenlighter...i do have the full article though

None of that even matters if no one can get a hold of it. Well, it would still be interesting to know, but its not important info at the moment. As soon as someone reports having had it, then it would be more urgent to find out.

Yet totally out of reach for 99.9% of the people reading this. Interesting in theory, always fun to read about new opioids, but not something that Joe Bluelighter is going to get his hands on.

the chemistry looks interesting and it is good to know this thread is in knowledgeable hands, although judging by the title, I think the person might be referring to klonopin mixed with heroin as a slang term for selling an adultrated product. Heroin combined with god only knows what rx med. Could be anything from the simple benzo cut to fentanyl, hopefully the idea that this is a slang term being promoted by someone is wrong because addicts that distribute will cut with (anything with properties other than heroin) and have a trendy nickname for it. Has that been debunked? or do we have a bluelighter addicted to heroin trying to slang his shit via bluelight. No offense to the seller, I did see the chemistry talk. Could that be a coincidence or bullshit theoretical chemistry from anyone that wants to copy molecules and mix them like throwing paint at a wall?

ANYBODY THAT FREQUENTS ADD< check this one out (if it hasnt been done already)

sorry guys didnt have the time to read anything but the title. I will read later

too interested to not read, will I be taking this in twenty years to get off my suboxone/when these drugs get cheap(er). It looks like the OP knows his shit and I want to know all I can about this compound. anyone with chemistry knowledge pm me

Huh? Heroin + klonopin?
Herkinorin is a semi-synthetic opioid agonist synthesized salvinorin A (from salvia).
