Herbal Tea Combos to assist anxiety etc.

wicked, another addition to an already wide array of herbs n naturals as such.
calindula is another id like to add, not so much as an anxiety helper... but to give to the ladies during that wonderfull time of the month...is said to relieve related greviences and is plesant tasteing
cammomile (sorry if its spelt wrong) ive heard of and u can get that just about any supermarket, although i thinks id source some fresh organic shit as said above:\
nice...very nice

I have never had a hangover from kava before.

me either, but then ive only ever drunk about half the ammount recomended, and u gotta remember the reason it has been banned is coz all the natives in the NT were getting shitfaced on it all the time, and boy cant those islanders drink, so the hangover effect could be highly probable but a low dose 4 me is just like a couple of valiums so yer, id not take it past halfa cup:\

I have never had a hangover from kava before.

Me neither, nor from Valerian, though a combo of them all combined with lots of weed can sometimes leave me a little lethargic the following morning. Nothing compared to an alcohol hangover though.

I have used Valerian for sleep a fair few times. I find that the second night after use it will produce no effects at all. And there was nothing close to a hangover when ever I have used.

Valerian gives me horrible night terrors.

really? wow thats one i not heard, Mugwort although for me makes for verry vivid and strange dreams, but rarley do they disturb me too much... im off to get some valerian tomorrow, will have to c how it goes wit me:\

It makes me feel like I have spent the entire night tripping while I was sleeping. I wake up feeling completely drained.

^ shit... maybe i should hold of that then for a bit, may not be so good for anxiety if it were to have that efect now i think of it:\

That might just be the effect it gives me, it might be good for you. Most of the vitamin style preparations have Passionflower as well as Valerian. The Passionflower might be enough to treat your anxiety issues.

Steer clear of the 2 different Kava tablet formulations that are approved by the TGA, they are rubbish IMO. Good fresh Vanuatu Kava can still be sourced in Australia if you know the right people.

That's what my girlfriend experiences every night without drugs... sometimes the lucid dreaming is so bad she will wake up very frequently during the night and feel exhausted in the mornings.

here in the states at any grocery store i can walk in and go to the tea/coffee section and find a specific one

Celestial Seasonings is the brand, the name is sleepytime extra

it contains chamomile, valerian, and hops for sedation and lemongrass n spearmint for flavor it is truly IMO the best tea on the market one can buy aside from ones own mixture but buying a box of prepackaged stuff is easier

you can prob find it online or on ebay or something like that

valerian soon gotta refund:\
love all this imput, id b especialy like to hear of combos of herbs that any of you may use for relaxation!! smoke , drink, or otherwise8o

^ I'm yet to try mulungu and opioids but I imagine it might be nice. Glad you liked the mulungu, what dose did you use? I tried three heaping teaspoons my first time and it was a bit too much, I felt very spacey and out of it which I didn't really enjoy, couldn't relax.

^ yea tha bag said about two grams,so i went with three well rounded teaspoons, n am melting right now, but had my benzo and some codiene also:|

I often feel sleepy/groggy in the mornings after using sedative herbs like kava, hops and valerian but not really a hangover.

I was trying to do the maths with those kava tablets to work out how many I would need to take to equal the doses of kava root we used to take (I think 50g was about it). For some reason it just isnt the same it could be that the kavalactones degrade or perhaps its as simple as the method of administration. They still have an effect but it doesnt seem as enjoyable. 5 of those Thompsons brand ones seemed to make me quite drowsy and a bit relaxed with a hint of nausea but not like the original. I think anymore than 5 might make you a bit sick.

@ Mr Blonde; Are the liquid kava extracts legal/over the counter? or more your black/grey market deal

Also got hold of the mulungu recently. It worked fairly well. Quite impressed.

Has anyone noticed if it is tolerance building? I would imagine it would be if it works on the GABA system.

^ Jakeperson has found that redosing does not work so well. As for the liquid kava, I'm not sure as to it's legality but it's easily available.

Powdered Kava is also easily available but just as illegal as the liquid products unless they have had their formulations approved by the TGA.
