Their was once a time i didn't pay for that strain;) Oh it's Shiva Skunk btw . Lovely fruity taste n aroma . Anyone else a fan of Shiva Skunk .

I was doing it about 1998 £20 n 8th £155 oz .

Yum, what a bud.

Dunno what strain I had a go on last night but bloody hell, after a break it was a full-on experience, it was like my vision became an incredibly rich and detailed oil painting. Also got 3g of nice polm for fifteen quid.

never (knowingly) smoked shiva skunk but with its parents being northern lights #5 and skunk #1, can't see it being anything other than top notch.

i'm waiting for my mate to drop me off (hurry the fuck up) a 1/4 of LA woman for £70. he's been trying to pull the wool over my eyes and saying he has purchased rather than grown it (so he can justify selling it to me at full whack even though i used to sort him out really good deals when i had a crop) but i know the score you little scamp.. i know the guy that sold him the cuttings a few months ago.. fuck it! that's just the way it goes i guess.

Proper love the DNA seedline, when I grew it would be mainly DNA/Reserva Privada, la woman stunk my fucking flat out! really smell the martian mean green coming through (Martian mean green is the strongest smelling weed I have ever smelt..so far)

For asecond i thought did i ? Were you smoking skunk in 1998 & buying it off a Postman then if so you did buy it off me & you would have got a fukin good deal £20 an 8th or rarely £25 to people that were inpatient .

edit fuk it was 1996 i wasn't working in 1998 .

Charging for cuttings is just wrong. Definitely a sign of the times. The weed scene really ain't what it used to be for the most part. Nowt wrong with making money for the time, effort and risk invovled but there should be limits to how far people are prepared to push the profiteering. Is a sad state of affairs. I loves me weed but in a way I'm quite glad to have been priced out of the market. Don't like giving money to pisstakers. Only encourages 'em to even greater levels of pisstakery :\

Oh, and on the White Widow thang, I agree - was distictly average at best. Was also dirt cheap on offer so was either 3g of that or 1g of summat else and I had two days to fill, nowhere to stay and no more cash so quantity was more use to me than quality tbh.

I genuinely don't even bother asking people what strain the weed's meant to be any more. It's pretty irrelevant.

Is the taste good? Does it smell good? Does it make you feel good? Has it been dried and trimmed properly?
 
Am not fussed about strains these days cos I wouldn't believe what I was told anyway (by pure chance I suppose I must have had "cheese/blue cheese" once or twice though, I suppose). Was more interested when I smoked regularly but was never overly anal (sorry, overly ANAL) about it. I assume the White Widow I had was legit unless coffeeshops aren't covered under whatever the Dutch equivalent of trading standards is. Which is quite possible.

I normally am like that, but have noticed lately that when it's coming to the more expensive higrade it seems to be a bit more on the lines of what they are describing rather than the typical 'Triple Chocolate Blueberry SUPER Haze' but that's still just going off a strain review/google images.

Pretty sure there is a proper strain called Orange Bud, but round here it just stands for 'mids/grown purely for profit/not cured or trimmed'. You've basically a choice of either that or slightly more expensive higrade at the minute.
 
anyone tried black widow from mr nice? supposed to be like the original Brazilian sativa x South Indian Indica white widow before ze dutch gave then genetics a good fuicking with.

the LA woman is nice, not as well grown as my other matey, not as well cured as my other matey, and probably not flushed because it crackles a little bit in the bong. Grr. still good though

has anyone seen any of that shitty vac pack vietnamese/english shit about recently.. it seems to be dieing out round here.. have the commercial growers realised there is more many to be made punting better quality bud?! or has the number of home growers putting out the good stuff taken them out of the game. hmm
