Bluelighter
The other day i acquired a few suboxone tablets. I tried searching and searching bluelight but have failed (or not searched hard enough) to find a definate answer to my question. I have received mixed messages over the net about IVing suboxone.
First theory i have heard... The nalaxone, when injected, blocks the buprenorphines effects because the bio-availability of injected nalaxone is exremely high while oral is close to nothing. So the naoxone is basically "Activated"
Second theory...Even though the nalaxone gets "Activated" when injected the affinity of buprenorphine for the opiate receptors is higher than the naloxone renduring naloxones importance in suboxone pointless.
I have heard of some people injecting suboxone and saying that it threw them into instant withdrawel, assuming that they are physically dependant and are not in withdrawel at the time. Others IV suboxone regularly and report no withdrawel symptoms and even claim they get "high" from it.
Now last night i attempted an expiriment myself. I am an opiate dependant male 18 years old and use h on a daily basis. I crushed an 8 mg suboxone tablet into a fine powder mixed it with water and cooked it into a sludgy mix (Now i know i did not prepare this expiriment RIGHT, probably even the most WRONG way to possibly do it) i drew up about a quarter of the mix into a syringe added some more water to make it a little less thick and shot almost all of it. Saving 10ccs do to the fact that the last bit was way to thick. about 10 seconds after. I felt nauscious, started sweating ALOT! got a huge blood rush to my head like when you stand up way to fast and just felt horrible (It felt just like withdrawel) all simultaneously for about 2-3 minutes. Then after that i felt pretty normal with a few lingering effects like dizziness. My question is can someone please give me a few credibal answers about suboxone and the importance of nalaxone and maybe explain to me what might have happened to me last night. I am really tired of seeing so many contradicting statements on the web about suboxone and i jjust would like to know the truth. Thanks fellow bluelighters.
