HELP QUICK!!! Did i take to much methadone?

Hey I have been insufflating 100 mg plus of Oxycontin and Opana daily and I took 60 mg of methadone about 30 min ago and I'm worried it was too much cause I've never done it. Help me out please, tell me what you think guys....Thank you..Sorry if this is in posed in the wrong place. Im new to the site
 
Anything you can tell me would help. I think I'm ok because I have a very high tolerance to other opiates. Like like an oc 80 in one line doesn't get me too high. It makes me feel good, but I dont get the nods or anything, just a good head and body euphoria ya know....
 
Are you alone? Maybe it would be good if you had a friend around... I don't know much about methadone other than it's very strong. Do not redose, and maybe have someone around in case you get into trouble.

My favorite poster on here so far) You make sense nd kinda help me assimilate.

However for the OP, I did not fully understand the question.

Did you take the 80 OC, opana, and then methadone same day.
Or are you asking if 60 methadone might be too much by itself.

If it was the first case then it would kinda be a waste of OC because methadone ovepowers it. Think of why there are done clinics and not oxy ones. Methadone takes a long time to kick in and the rush is not that great but it gets rid of the opiate cravings.

THe second case is even more easy to explain. 60 mg of done will not make you overdose as long as you could handle over 80-100 mg of oxy. It will actually feel pretty mellow. Unlike oxy where u randomly nod off, on methadone I can counteract with others like i ususally do. But if I lie down and want a quick nap no problem waking up with less anxiety.

However methadone tolerance is a bitch as well...from 10mg a day to 60 in a week
 
Nah , but I would go see a friend and hang out over there. Methadone is lame. It slows breathing down a lot which makes it very dangerous. It kinda makes heroin look weak at a high dose in my honest opinion but only the first couple times you take it if you're in mmt which you're obviously not. On an ending note yea you'll be fine. Just dont be using that stuff to get a buzz, its not meant for that nor is it used for that. It's used for one thing detox and maybe pain management....for a junkie.

And I also think that if you can get a friend round to be with you incase anything does go wrong (it's doubtful but better safe than sorry) then you definitely should ;) That was a great idea :)
 
Yeah, if you snort (insufflate) 80+mg Oxycontin's and 10-40mg Opana's, Your gonna be FINE. unlike phenantherines (my fav class of opioid drugs)[ie morphine, oxycod/morph, hyrdrocod/morp, codeine, heroin etc] Methadone is a diphenylheptane. And well, there is incomplete cross tolerance, but you would get higher from the oxycodone or oxymorphone. Methadone does'nt really give opioid addicts a great buzz. Actually its more of a sweaty "glow" that diminishes after several week of prolonged useage. Also long as your not overly nauseous or itchy, and are breathing ok, then Buddy, your gonna be fine. Actually if you a physically dependent on opiates (like me) then your gonna be happy. You will be good (ie: not dope sick) for about 2 days!!!! that's always nice. But don't do (waste) your oxy or opana until at least 48-72hrs after the 60mg of the methadone you took. The opana and oxycontin will NOT properly work with the methadone. Its like wasting them, as the methadone wont let them near the Mu-2 receptors until they are done binding. Methadone and naltrexone/naloxone have the highest affinity for the mu receptors. GOOD luck, and enjoy the next 24hrs as you wont become dope-sick.
