***help keep bluelight running***

What a shame, I will make sure to send in $20, I sure as hell hope others will. It will be a huge bummer to lose bluelight and all of its great archived info.
 
Fortunately I live in Oz, so I can mail my donation without having to use an International Money Order, and I'll be doing that in the next week or so.
 
Donated. Bluelight has provided me with an invaluable about of information to keep myself safe, I would be devastated if it was lost.
 
I know this might be far-fetched and unreasonable but what about a 1$ registration fee/1$ a year? It might just weed out (pun intended) a lot of non-sense around here... just a thought (which im sure has already been thought of). Then again it might deter noobs who need the help and knowledge the most.. I will donate my 10$ as soon as I buy my textbooks.

I really hope we can keep the community alive; it is an awesome place.

I don't know who I'll go to if bluelight goes down for real world advice, so I donated. Hopefully more will also.

Unfortunately I think that it would have definitely deterred me if it would have been that way when I first joined.

I think the recognition of value comes after you have received help and more importantly invested your own experience/advice in the forum.
 
^^ I agree. I also think it would defeat one of the major principals of the website, which is harm reduction. Which shouldn't haveto be bought.

Perhaps something along the lines of an incentive to join......but i have no idea what could be offered.
 
Speaking of which, $10 is only a bump of coke. Can't you guys sacrifice one bump of coke per year for Bluelight? Without it, you wouldn't know important things like acetone washes and A/B extractions... or whether the left or right nostril is better (I've seen more threads about that than I can believe... who asks such retarded questions? Answer to myself: apparently a lot of people).

Anyway in Oz $10 wouldn't even get you a line, that would get you a little speck of coke at the going rate.
