How did the MRI scan come back? I feel sorry for your poor liver rather then your brain! Heavy drinking after a concussion is never a good thing but it won't harm your brain. The only reason people are told never to drink after a concussion is because it's important to be aware of any degeneration in neurological status (which would indicate a more serious complication of head injury) which would otherwise be masked by alcohol. Taking MDMA or any drugs after a concussion is never a good thing either for the very same reason but it won't harm your brain because your liver will still filter out the toxins (this won't be compromised just because you banged your head.)
CT scan was clean! Ahmm, the MRI I'll have to wait tim my appointment to find out! I pray it's clean.
I don't know, I just feel like the bruised brain with MDMAs neurotoxins really did me in. But, I had a bad trip before that last one too, I lost the magic and was in a bad place with my gf.
So maybe it could just be the psychological imprint of the bad trip/breakup?
I tend to look at things at too much of a neurological perspective, neglecting the psychological aspect and primarily basing it up physiological circumstances, upon which there's less room for "repair".
The reason I thought drinking was so bad, was because your brain releases HGH, fibroblast hormone, insulin like growth factor 1, breakneck derived neurotrophic factor and a huge list of repairing agents acutely at the time of injury. And appeartnly the most repair happens in the first 7 days, upon which I was drunk the whole time, so I feel like the alcholhol messed with the brains growth hormone release for repair.
And MDMA messing with damages cells just sounds bad and I'm sure you can picture why.
For the record I was jumped by a gang and was unconscious for 65-80 minutes.
