That's a pretty ill-informed statement, for one.
In the Emergency Department, the system we use to decide who gets dealt with first is called triage. It is based on who is in the worst shape. Also, as a life-flight nurse, I take offense at your statement(s), John203, because all properly trained medical professionals, are taught to keep their personal judgements/morals/convictions out of the picture.
Actually, the OD might get dealt with before the MVA, because they might be in a more life-threatening position...
