I originally found bluelight a million years ago, and became a member in 2004. Some of the old schoolers might remember me as Zekethemusicman. Never did write many threads, only commenting here and there. But I always learned so much and appreciated the community. However, around 7 years ago I decided to end my dependence to opiods, which I was successful at. But if I was to remain steadfast in my endeavor I couldn't participate or even lurk here, or even Erowid because of the obvious temptation.
Now years later I have beaten the addiction that controlled me and learned much information on the sober side of being a drug addict, as well as the psychology and culture of substance use/abuse. I have returned to bluelight to rejoin the community and hopefully contribute as much information back to the harm reduction community as I received from it.
I look forward to talking to everyone here these days, newer members and old schoolers!
