Used opiates many times, never been addicted (got some kind of withdrawal symptoms very, very mildly when I'd been taking them every other day for a while, but that's it).

I like them, but I'm too lethargic as it is, so they make me RIDICULOUSLY lazy the next day. For me to have a habit I'd also have to be able to get some speed for daytime use to wipe out the leftover lethargy so I could function.

..that all said, if I had a regular supply of oxy things might go wrong, because damn that stuff is good. Living in the UK sucks on so many fronts.. :p

i have taken prescribed opiates for back pain for over ten years. The only time i accidently ran out it became very clear that my body is completely addicted. Sometimes i add to my prescribed dose also if i can get hold of stuff. I mostly take my prescribed DHC though.

I've been into opiates off and on..I mostly come upon some by chance rather than finding a hookup. My aunt who was in a bad car accident a year ago gave me her old script (3 bottles of vicodin 750). I would say I was hooked on them, tho I'd usually space out using for 2-3 days at a time till I ran out. I didn't get more, but then 2 months later I find an unopened script of liquid morphine sulfate 20mg which resulted in a 3 day binge..I don't remember what I did those 3 days haha.. I just got a connect for some ocs. I might just get 2 tho, since they're so expensive. Never tried them so should see what all the rave is about. OT: Would 20s be strong for me? Or start higher..?

I've been enjoying opiates on and off for several years now. I first tried Vicodin like five years ago but didn't have any more opiates for a long time after that. 2008 was my year of heaviest use...sigh. I had fairly regular access to free morphine, oxy, vicodin...those were the days.

I space out my use so my tolerance doesn't rise. Even now I still can get high off 10-15mg of hydrocodone. I have never suffered any physical symptoms of withdrawal.
I'm psychologically addicted...opiates fleet through my mind every single day. I day dream about finding a big bag of oxy or something. If the world went to shit and everyone was rioting, the first thing I would do is rob pills from every pharmacy I could get to. God that would be great.

I started playing with opiates long ago. I would take them for about a week, then stop for a while. I mostly used oxy at that time. I always told myself "see I can control this". The reality was that the only reason I didn't do them constantly was because I didn't have a constant supply. Well, the supply situation changed when I learned about ordering pods over the internet. At that point, I became a daily pod user and stayed that way for around 2 years. Now I'm trying to quit. Haven't had any pods in over a week, but I have taken tramadol here and here to help with the intense withdrawal. That shit is a godsend. I just take enough to get rid of most of the symptoms so I can get some sleep at night. I'm tapering the tramadol down till I can be done with this shit for good.

IMO, opiates cannot be done recreationally. It may take a week, or it may take several years, but you will end up falling to the addiction. I'm sure lots of people reading this will say "yeah but I'm different". No you aren't. Trust me...I truly believed I was different. I read posts EXACTLY like this one and thought that I must be special because I can handle it. The sad thing is that no amount of reading other people's horror stories will stop you. You will do as you want and go on believing that you are different from the others until it's too late. That is precisely the insidious nature of the opiate.

I've tried opiates at least 30 times and nver been addicted. I've gone on week long binges before and never gotten addicted... I feel so lucky :P

i used opiates of many kinds, on many occasions. and i was given them for a long time for breaking my leg 20 times. i am not addicted, though i really like them.

i think i wouldve been addicted due to the leg thing, but when i had to come off, my doctor gave me lyrica. which was a godsend. and helped me get off of them.

is this thread implying that you have a high chance of becoming an opiate addict after doing it more than 5 times? i've done opiates around 30 times, never got addicted once...thats probably cuz i didn't have a constant supply to them though. no but really though, this kid in my class gives me 4 20 mgs. oxycontins once a week for free (free drugs FTW), if i were to get high on oxy for lets say 1-2 times a week for 2 months would i get addicted? cuz i'm planning on taking advantage of my situation lol

vicodin doesnt seen that addictive to me as percocet or euphoric...ill never forget when i had my first 20mg of percocet, i thought about opiates straight for 2 weeks...with vicodin its a nice feeling in and out...then ur sober off it u cant remember it..which in my opanion makes it not addicting as perc....but i would never try dope with my addictive persionality i would probably think it was jesus,lol..

deuce

ive been using opiates daily for about 7 months now, and im not addicted. i was dependant at one point, and possibly slightly addicted, but i overcame it and after a couple weeks im back on them, but neither addicted nor dependant so far

Ive been using opiates on and off for a year... started shooting this winter.... now realize what a sneaky bitch opiates can be with your brain and wish I had never tried them... more than a physical addiction I feel the mental, but the sun is coming out, my stash has run out and Im looking forward to kicking this addiction out the door into the melting snow :) <3

been using once twice a month (every other week) for about 6months now and still dont even crave it.

poppy pod tea that is, but ive found combined with alcohol and or calcium tablets you will experience a super high.
Last night was the first time I drank alcohol on it and was mad high, so blissful words cant describe was sick a fair bit though. but its allgood. feel good today.

Started with Oxy80's, 1 per day. Went to IV'n them and chewing on Fentanyl patches. Quickly went to Heroin IV on the weekends, then everyday.

Still using but luckily my area's kinda beat.
