have you ever rolled with your parents?

im 24 and my parents are in there late thirty's early forties. they are cool open minded people but they frown uppon x because they saw what it did to me after abusing it when i first started. i have always wanted to experience it with them at least once. i think we would become a lot closer. i know they would thoroughly enjoy it. im sure they could use it too.:)

has anybody done this? how was it?
 
yeah were pretty close. we smoke and drink together quite often (maybe 2-3 times a month) and i work with pops everyday. its just a shame they would never do it because of the image i gave them of it:(

i think if somehow they did it with me we would clear a lot of things up. they would too as a couple.:)
 
Definitely don't force it. Just be patient. If it doesn't happen, oh well. But let them know that at least you're open to it.
 
Do they know that you still roll right now, or are they under the impression that you gave it up once your prior abuse became too extreme?

If they don't know you roll, I think it'll be a little hard to get them to contend with the double whammy of 1) the fact that you're rolling after having abused it in the past, and 2) that you want them to join into something that you haven't necessarily shown them to be safe.

I'm not sure how you're going to do it, but you're going to have to gradually introduce them to the idea that MDMA isn't (terribly) damaging if used responsibly. You may need other sources to confirm this to them, as your example alone probably won't be very convincing. Perhaps news articles about the research being done on MDMA in PTSD therapy would help? There's always that Peter Jennings special, "Ecstasy Rising", which I believe you can find on Youtube.

I'd personally have a hard time trying this with my parents, as they're ideologically opposed to altered states of mind (:\), never mind the danger of negative physical repercussions.

My parents have NO idea I do this stuff in the first place. And I fear if they ever figure out the disappointment in their eyes will be stuck in my head forever.
 
I could have rolled with my dad n had an awesome time when he was alive.
My mum? The reason she left dad was the drugs he was doing. I think I'd die if she knew I'd done more than a bit of weed in my highschool days.
 
RGB. no they don't know i still roll. they may suspect it, but i highly doubt it since i keep my usage down to once every month or two now rather than every weekend. im going on two months on the 13th actually.:)

i don't think i would ever ask them or push it on em but if the opportunity came up i definitely wouldn't hesitate.=D
 
It really would bring the family closer together. My only problem is my parents have never done any mind enlightening drugs, mdma, shrooms, lsd. Not to mention both of them haven't even been drunk either.
 
If your parents are in their late thirties, that means you were born when they were 15 or younger, correct?

Back on topic: It would definitely bring you closer as a family because you would be able to discuss things you otherwise felt uncomfortable bringing up. As for me, I know my parents would definitely not be willing to do it. Maybe if I took the time to explain to them how pre/post-loading can reduce harm, and how most of the things they've heard about it are false then... Who knows?
 
My wife's mother was 16 when she had her. Her 54th birthday is in a couple weeks and she's trying some x I got for them for the first time that night. They seem quite excited.

My parents know I`ve done, well, everything. They don`t say much about it any more but they`d never try it.
 
My Mum hates all drugs after she watched my older brother fucked up on ice for a year. He's off that drug now =D
 
I think it would just be too uncomfortable to roll with my mom and stepdad.
They're both pretty open minded about everything, but when it comes to drugs.. I don't know, I just think cluing them in to my use would be a bit of a let down to them.
I know for a fact that my stepdad did drugs in the 70's, as he's told me about it.. But telling him just doesn't feel right..

I think I'd rather keep my use between my girlfriend and a small group of friends, anyway.
 
My Parents= Disdain so i would never let them experience the beauty of Ecstasy!.
 
im sorry.... they are in there early-mid forties my mom was 20 and dad 22 when i was born....ooooops! they just dont seem that old.

interesting responses anyhow. so nobody has actually experienced the joy of x with there parents?

Haha that would be the end of it for me. If my parents ever found out they would probably disown me. I have to make an attempt to pick up my LED's and dead glowsticks laying around the house lol.
