A quick glance at wikipedia shows that MDPBP was (supposedly) the main active ingredient in 'NRG-1'. Now I was always led to believe that the NRG series were a load of shite, so I'm now majorly confused...

Have I found the legendary "Tan MDPV"? (MDPBP)

^ I have no information on this whatsoever, except to make the observation that a lacklustre drug taken orally (for example) can sometimes have vastly different effects when administered other ways.
Some drugs seem like completely different substances when subjective effects of different ROAs are taken into consideration.
....just thought I would throw that out there. I can't imagine MDPV being particularly sought after, were it in pill form, though I could be wrong in assuming that (I don't know if it is very "sought after" in pure form - a 'niche market' as shambles pointed out).

Supposedly MDPBP which I suspect could be like the brown/tan MDPV that was around a couple of years ago, but just a couple of batches.
It's hard for me to say if it is the same stuff, because I quit MDPV and all other drugs except the suboxone which I have legally. So it's 4 years ago I took MDPV.
But on rehab I took some concerta, and I got that hateful resemblance to MDPV and only felt ill/bad/regretful and just wanted to wait it out. So I really hate that feeling.
Now I got hold of something my vendor says is MDPBP which is tan/brown and looks exactly like the tan MDPV which fucking blew me away. It was as inverted MDPV with only the good feelings but not the bad ones. No paranoia, no illusions, but only pure bliss, it felt almost like MDMA IV'd, but even softer and harder at the same time, hard to describe.
I thought for myself that now it's so many years ago now, and I really don't wanna do this, but I must know if it is the same. I really felt that it could be a really bad idea too because you never know how your body reacts, I didn't even do a allergy test before.
Loaded up 10-15mg with 2.5ml water (which was my standard doses at the time), and after reading on swedish forums that 100mg felt nothing so I thought I took the safe route.. and IV'd it slowly slowly slowly with pauses, and continuing alittle just to not clog the neddle, when I had injected 1-1.25ml I felt the first sign of the rush coming gently... So I tried a little more, then it just escalated so I pulled it out, and the result was just after half the dose that I thought was gonna be minimal or even not give any effects at all.
So I must let some of my old MDPV friends (who I rather not meet...) try it out so they can say for sure, because I don't trust myself, my tolerance is at zero and have been almost completely clean for 4 years now, disregarding some spice smoking once in a while and a xanax if I have a meeting I must go to. But I would probably reacted the same on a coffeine tablet or two =)
Now it's 1h25m ago since I IV'd, and I don't feel like taking the rest of the dose, not yet at least. For whatever that's worth.
Now I took the rest, at 2h45min after first one, I guess it was between 20-40% of the original dose. It didn't do as much as the first one, was expecting more of a rush, but it is quite pleasant anyway and I still feel the rush now after 5 minutes. So I don't agree with the people I have read on the swedish forums about this compound. They said it was freebase (from other source than mine), this MDPBP I have in possession is in Hcl form. But they said it didn't dissolve in water when heated, and they put 100mg on the spoon at that time. So I don't think they got much to solve of the 100mg they tried to get into solution. They compared it with a a-PVP type of mood, but no euphoria or lust to do things, rather lethargy (if it means becoming lazy and incapable of doing anything), they also said there was no well being feelings in it, more of a "coldness" to it, I shall look for links and try to include them later.
So I am not 100% positive that it is the old "tan MDPV", but if not, it's a very closely related chemical. I believe the synth is so similar between the two compunds, that they didn't even care, or if they even knew that some batches they sent away wasn't actually what people were ordering. Because my webshop at the time sold it as MDPV. So I got to choose what color I wanted when I ordered.
Anyway, I'm gonna find more test pilots, hopefully someone who remeber the tan MDPV so they can compare it... I'll report back later.

Ah ok. The MDPBP mentioned in your links is 1-(3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl)-2-bromopropane). The chemical discussed in this thread is 3',4'-Methylenedioxy-α-pyrrolidinobutyrophenone.
Same name, but two different chemicals. So I guess we were both right. Or wrong, depending on how you look at it
