what do you like most? i prefer black hash for the taste, good weed (skunk, haze, cheese ect.) for the high =D
 
I personally like to mix them, I don't usually smoke hash unless I have bud as well. But all I've ever gotten was pressed kief hash, Blue Dream hash + Blue Dream nug's (Know the grower, hash was made from the nugs) = Soaring cerebral/euphoric, pain killing/couch-lock high. Kinda like a weed speedball :P. My usual ritual is vaping whatever strain I have on hand for the more euphoric/psychedelic (IMO) cannabinoids, then pack up a bong/bowl/grav of the same strain right after vaping to get the cannabinoids and other psychoactive chemicals only released by combustion. To answer your question, I think hash compliments weed, and although it can be smoked alone, its always nicer to have bud as well.
 
Herbal, but only because I lack much experience with the various types of hash and extracts.

There's also something about the routine, the ritual, the familiarity of sitting down, breaking down nugs and burning bowl by bowl or blunt by blunt. The act itself calms me down before I even get the smoke in me. I think getting into a hash habit would have an entirely different feel to me, though I'm not sure if it'd be for better or for worse.
 
For social situations like going to the pub or something I'll smoke a bit of Afghani Black because it's nice and mellow and good at helping me loosen up.

Some of my highest moments in Amsterdam came from mixing hash and weed together in a bowl and smoking it.
 
hash. Where I live the most common cannabis product is shitty (quite literally) adulterated hash. weed is very shitty and very expensive.
When I first tried cannabis it was actually hash baked in a cookie, and I just found hash to be much more convenient than weed. Much easier to cook with and lasts longer in my experience.
I also found it more satisfying to smoke than weed.

I love both, but hash will always be my favorite :D

At least if you had to choose one for the rest of you life through principle or a bet, you could alway make your own solid. Minus the plastic bags and bricks....
 
I do believe I once stumbled on what could only be described as horse manuar in a brick. Didn't put me off though it's all I had:-P

I don't even count that kind of shit when I talk about hash. Same way if I'm comparing hash to weed I don't count shitty weed.
 
Definitely, when I have hash, I put it on top of the marijuana in the bowl. I love hash for the flavor. Lately been enjoying some really great strains of cannabis, (Girl Scout Cookies, Killer Queen, OG Kush) and the are plenty good on their own, so... Had some Sour Diesel a couple of weeks ago that was pretty great for a sativa. Either alone, hash tends to be better stuff...
 
The good thing about mixing hash with weed is it makes your weed last longer and your hash last longer.
 
I tend to prefer classical hash (afghani, maroccan) over other types. The high is, for me, much better than modern hashes.
 
I Prefer professionally rolled kief over black hash now, too strong for my liking now a days, as a junior the hash high was the best.

Best high for me is a West coast organic greenhouse, indoors not too fond off...too much energy needed, usually come out airy with chemical fert. They look tight but thats it.

I like both, when I was in Europe I was smoking a lot of hash but really I have only had hash a few times in Australia despite the fact I have been getting stoned over a decade. I prefer the taste and buzz of hash to weed, but it could be novelty considering how much less exposure I have to it, weed is definately less hassle to smoke though. I feel like I have to say I prefer weed since that is what I smoke every single day but at the same time if I could choose between the two I would be taking the hash more often.
