To understand the effects of weed, you need to understand the way the brain functions.
The brain is operated by about 100 billion neurons (nerve cells) which all process information about specific functions. The neurons communicate with each other through neurotransmitters, which are chemicals that control the signals sent between neurons and receptors which receive these signals. Foreign chemicals, like THC, can mimic or block actions of neurotransmitters and can therefore diminish the communication between sets of neurons.
Weed is psychoactive, the THC effects the cannabinoid receptor (CB1) thus giving an effect that can range from a pleasant high to a psychedelic state, dependent on dosage.
As most pot smokers will know, different strains give very different highs and I personally get the highest when mixing multiple strains in one session.
After my first experiences with mushrooms, LSD and mescaline I found that weed made me trip a lot harder. Has anyone else experienced this?

IIRC White Rhino is a Sativa-dominant Hybrid, which would cerainly account for the more "heady" effects.
Yeah, I've also heard this, i don't know who to believe anymore ;D
White Rhino is Indica Dominant. White Widow is Sativa dominant.
Either heavy Indica or Heavy Sativa usually make people hallucinate.
I don't understand how someone who smokes regularly doesn't know about the psychedelic properties of Cannabis lol Took me one time of heavy smoking to experience it, and that was the 2nd time I got high. Then in the next couple of years 3 friends told me they hallucinated from weed as well.
Maybe just circumstance.
