GTA 4 pre-discussion and trailer! (if you DON'T have the game yet)

I can't wait for this game to come out. The more I hear about it, the more excited I get. Everything I read about this game indicates that it is going to open up a whole new level of gaming, it is going to change everything gaming is or ever has been. That is how fucking good GTA4 is going to be.

^yeah this is going to be a million times better than that time madonna managed to squeeze the entire eiffel tower into her vag!

especially if my voice manages to be heard on liberty city talk back radio
i really wish i had made the time to redo my entries.

By the way, EA games is trying to take over (hostile) Rockstar's publisher, Take 2 games, in order to own the rights to GTA IV. I know that EA fucks up every single game it touches, so I hope this doesn't negatively effect future GTA titles. I'm not sure if Rockstar would still be free to do what they want and find another publisher, and if EA would own the rights to Rockstar and the team would either have to suck it up and work for a company known for mistreating employess, or quit, and have to start again with a new company logo and forfeit the rights to GTA; or if they keep their company and rights to future GTA's, but EA owns the rights to GTA IV. Either way I think it is bad for the episodic content coming out this August.

I heard that. It would be so shite because EA are arselickers to big business. They would put advertising in GTA games with real names of products.

I just hope there aren't massive load screens when you get to certain areas, prefer one big load at the start

From what I understand there are no load screens besides the initial load sequence.

from that gta4.net link last night, i went through a few pages of screenshots.

seriously, fap fap fap.

why ps3?
xbox 360 has exclusive content in the works and on top of that, you'd be able to play against/with quite a few blers!

I'm still pretty much on the fence.

It's been a long time since I've played any video games with any regularity, I remember San Andreas sucking a huge amount of my time when it came out. I've heard 360 has issues with build quality, and I figure ps3 has more untapped potential considering it hasn't been out as long, plus the blu-ray player. I'll probably want to pick up metal gear when ever it comes out but aside from that and FF13 (depending on how it's received) there aren't that many ps3 proprietary games I'm looking forward to.

I used to own a PS2 but never played the original xbox, and I've had about 5 minutes on a 360 playing halo3. I guess I'm looking for which ever system will last me the longest, I really don't have any alegiance eaither way. I have some serious thinking to do, but it's going to have to wait until finals, I need another distraction like I need another hole in my head. I guess the one major advantage the XBOX has is that I could plug it directly into my CRT monitor and get 720p resolution (I don't have an HDTV), with a ps3 I'd have to update my screen since it needs an HDCP (or what ever it is) compliant monitor/tv for high def.

Is the 360's hardrive a neccessity? I'm not really into downloading demos and movies, but I'm thinking with multiplayer maps and saved games that 250mb might not be enough space, but for $279 the price is pretty solid.

Seriously, get the xbox if you want online capabilities.

The only reason to even consider a ps3 is MGS4, but meh, it's not even dated yet, i'll probably get a cheap 2nd hand ps3 when it eventually goes into gold stages of production.

Xbox's are dropping in price now/next month anyway, so there's another reason to get one. The elite's are built not to overheat, as the case was in a minority of the last gen xbox's, it's also got a bigger harddrive.

Moar microsoft! <3

4th and final trailer is out later on today woo :D
