NEMD Grateful Dead Appreciation Thread

Everyone should go check out the red rocks show, 9-25. It was un-fucking-believable.

Every single person I saw was blown the fuck back. There was no show ever like it in my whole life. Especially the Stella Blue, Terrapin Suite, Unbroken Chain, and Other One. First set had a nice Help>Slip>Franklin and Cumberland also, but the second set was fucking otherwordly.

I just love the summer shows from 77. especially Cornell.
 
i used to hang out with some of the GDF and eat their acid.... boy was that clean, good acid...

I';ve had some poorly made acid...

I do not know the chemistry but, mistakes can be made, apparently
 
I've just started getting into Grateful Dead over the last year. Could someone recommend some live recordings you think are worth getting. And please don't say "all of them" ;)

Theres going to be a box set put out soon with 60 discs in it covering the European tour of 72. Its going to cost about $400 though. Europe in 72 is considered one of the best tours of their career. It was also Pigpens last tour.
