Hey BlueLight,
I gave this question a search on google and could not seem to find a definitive answer.
I intend to candyflip at the end of the month (I'm so very excited). I read a rather informative post on reddit on how grapefruit juice can reduce the potential neurotoxicity induced by MDMA. The idea behind it is that the metabolite from MDA, which is a metabolite of MDMA, is what causes a lot of the neurotoxic damage. By inhibiting the enzyme, CYP3A4, that metabolizes MDMA to MDA with grapefruit juice it can potentially reduce neurotoxicity.
Anyways, I'm wondering to what degree does grapefruit juice potentiate the effects of MDMA? CYP3A4 is said to metabolize 10-15% of the MDMA, so I figured I'd take 10-15% less than I would normally for a candyflip.
Thank you.
