Don’t you find it strange, what you revolved around?
Doesn’t it make you sick, what you became?
Doesn’t it seem stupid, what you’re drawn back to?
because you seem smart enough to see it’s insane.
He’s an obsessed, negligent asshole; you’re a bright,
beautiful, alluring goth girl, now minus a clown.
He should be a corpse now, you made your closure,
but he haunts you even when he’s not around.
He calls your phone just like when you were together
Now leaving nothing but his poetic dead air
You see his number on your cell phone, still pick it up
Why even send the vaguest signal you care?
He screams at you to never show up at his house
Then tracks you down at a party at your cousin’s place
And you took the time to listen and drive him around
and you should’ve shut the fucking door in his face.
Isn’t it funny, how freedom scares you?
Like a bat out of familiar hell, scared of the open, foreign sky
Doesn’t it seem stupid, what you’re drawn back to?
The pattern’s so familiar and I still don’t know why.

i'm crossing my fingers and hoping upon hope myself that she doesn't go back. she needs to learn what freedom tastes like. i wish she were going away for college (even just 10 miles down the street and not living with her parents), because that's where the experience truly lies.
but, every time i bring up my fears you always tell me she's a big girl and to stay out of her business, so again i'll turn my head and just cross my fingers, hoping that she makes the right decision. it'll be okay, tim. i have faith in her. i think. do you?

well, i definitely have hope. she's as strong-willed as i am and i definitely support her in whatever decision she makes, regardless.
she's been trying the friends route... and he's still being a dick and she realizes it.

Drama up in WORDS

I hate to say it bluntly... coldly in fact- but I was reading some rather Fu Fu stuff a minute ago in WORDS (which I found volatile and VERY unoriginal) and had nothing but contempt for these Hallmark watered down pros as of late. Let me digress from my tangent and cut to the meat. This work of yours actually got me talking, thinking, an imaging scenario after scenario.

At first I thought this was a pierce of creative fiction (giggle)- the dysfunctional relationship of Goth girl V.S the ever tortuous “Clown”/ jackass X boyfriend. But after reading everyone’s comments I’m now wondering if there is more to the story than meets the eye. Regardless, the case at hand is that I found your pros amusing in a VERY realistic yet creative way. You mixed the element of “Sap” with “Premeditated Drama”. Who does “Premeditated Drama” (huge smile)? Very few folks up in WORDS. It was genius. It is rare that I can give a compliment on another’s scribings because my taste is so out there but BABES this was SLICK!
