I'll admit I do not know much compared to most about you and your contributions to this (and other) forums/etc. But from what has been said it sounds like we are losing an extremely valuable source of information and moderation and a million other things I probably cannot think of. I just want to express my thanks and wish you the best in all of life. I like to give credit where credit is due, and in this case it is definitely warranted. There are always those that are the 'bad apples' of a group, and I'd like to think I am not one of them. I am relatively good at determining who is a good person, and who is not. You seem genuinely good, and for that I must thank you...there aren't enough people such as yourself.

Live well, be happy, and prosperous...I really truly mean that. Good day to you :).
 
I would just like to pay my respects to PhreeX- I have not posted or read all that much in this particular forum and - despite feeling comfy here - still feel like a young Bler when I think about it... but I have been impressed with and am grateful for much of the information I have been able to gather.
 
Hey Phreex... I remember all your old school, back in the day, insightful threads... hell, I don't even do 'otherdrugs', pretty much just greens, but I always read your threads because they had such great information within them. Anyway, thanks for giving so much of your time and effort. Hopefully you'll still stick around, i'm sure you will.... take it easy!
 
well man, it was great havin ya as a mod here, tearin ppl down when they acting a fool, and not UTFSE. glad u recovered from ur mishaps quite awhile back.

tho i never shared the same interests as the OD forum posters, it was always mostly intelligent discussion. hell, needles creep me out, yet i read ur guide to IV. tho i never need the info, it was informatiove. you are a bright well spoken individual. keep the agents outta the bushes, and remember theyere watchin u ;)

thanks for probably saving my life more than a handful of times, thanks for ODUG, thanks for keeping this place normal for the most part (up until the past year). i was worried as shit when you od'd and was waaay happy when i heard you came out of your coma. good luck on your endeavors.

sea-foam green, only like 5 forums, alot of intelligent conversation, those were the days. that shit got me addicted to BL, but even if OD is on a downslope its still one of the most veiwed forums on the site(next to The Louge and their post-whoring).

once, just once a month can you make a greenlighter piss his pants like you used to. haha. northwestern's a good school in a bad area, you'll succeed no doubt. good luck.

By the way....WTF is that U.S. gov shit on your website. Is that for real? Don't really need the paranoia that seems to abound south of the border.....
 
Thanks for all the hard work PhreeX, I learnt a lot reading your articles and stories way back. At Bluelight you have left behind a considerable legacy from which others will continue to benefit for a long time. All the best in the future.

How ironic that this thread would also degenerate into moronic side discussions.

Anyways, back in OD's earlier years (99-?), I started using bluelight to answer my drug questions (back when I thought ecstasy was cool). Pretty soon afterwards, I got into the habit (no pun intended) of reading every post on OD every day after classes. My fondest memories are of PhreeX's insightful (and damning) posts/replies that often infuriated the less-than-informed candyraver who posted in OD with hopes of PLUR only to be sent away crying. The sad thing is that even these flaming threads tended to have more substance to them than the typical post today. Needless to say, I don't read every post anymore.
