Goodbye! It's been a fun 5+ years, but I QUIT!

I appreciate all of Phreex's work, and though not intentionally, I am, like most of us, probably taking alot of it for granted. By the sound of it and just what negrogesic has included in just one paragraph, it seems like Phreex has done a near unfathomable amount of work for Bluelighters, drug users, information seekers, web surfers, and more.

What the hell is that phreex.com site? Why does it lead me to some gov't site? That's a joke....? What an asshole, regardless if it is a joke or not. This isnt the thread or the website to post stupid shit like that.

I'm probably one of those regular posters who phreex or most of the other "elite" bluelighters barely even notice, but I still have seen so much of what you contributed, and thank you for it.

It's sad to see you leaving, but I guess all good things have to come to an end sometime...We've been spoiled having you around for the last 5 years

anyways good luck on anything you decide to do, and you know you have our support and gratitude for everything.
 
I think that you can hold PhreeX up as an example of the fact that people who use drugs do not have to be a lazy useless pain in the arse with no ambitions.

When you get older, what you did here is the sort of thing you should be proud to tell your grandchildren about.

At the very least you deserve a standing ovation for having been an instrumental force in BlueLight's diversification from an mdma site.Personality quirks are not the issue [or shouldn't be]. It should be about good, solid info on harm reduction. in that area you have been a force to be reckoned with. Although I did not have the pleasure of interacting with you that much, and for that long, I still got alot out of your contributions and thank you.

Phreex -- thanks for all the time and effort you have put into your posts, both here on Bluelight and other places on the web. I am one of countless people who have never really contributed to your discussions but have learned so much from reading your posts. Best wishes for continued success.
 
Although we've talked about this already (through PM), Feinberg is definitely a premeire institution, and I wish you the best of luck, in school (it's rough, but you can do it!), and in health. Bust ass and you'll make a fine MD (and maybe teach a few things along the way)...;)

p.s. Don't forget to bust ass on your MCAT...I'll be pulling for you...

cya 'round, phreeX. hopefully, anyway. negrogesic has told me so much about you that i feel like i know you. he and i are pretty good friends, and i'm sure that the two of us could have been as well, had we had the time/opportunity.

i hope that OD can remain an online refuge for those of us with habits and hobbies that more people fail to understand or care about, and that we can grow it in revolutionary ways, making it an even greater resource for an even larger audience.

only time will tell. but, we owe it all to you for breaking the ground. so, thank you.
