best documentaries ive watched lately that i recommend:

religulous - Bill Maher's take on the current state of world religion. its pretty funny and he sort of takes the piss out of ignorant christians quite a lot.

BBC inside the human body - BBC docs are always great. cool graphics and makes you realise how cool your body is.

Mr. Death: The Rise and Fall of Fred A. Leuchter, Jr. - this guy who engineered the electric chair
and gallows and lethal injection machine. then he went on to being a holocaus denier.

dark days - film about homeless in new york who live sort of under the ground. its dark and eerie and full of crack heads. you really get an insight into their lives.

fat head
- about diet and how fat isnt so bad for your health how carbs are bad. very interesting if you care about your diet. also states the cholesterol and animal fat do not cause heart disease. ive been fryin everything in butter since i watched this.

Louis Theroux: Miami Mega Jail - Part 1 - Louis Theroux is the man

go and watch them if you havent already.

yeah but hell be like 'yeah the sun is going to explode and the whole solar system will be destroyed and ultimately the universe will come to an end so every human endeavor is basically futile'. but his face is amazing so beautiful youre like 'wow life is pointless but i just dont care'.

Louis Theroux: Miami Mega Jail - Part 1 - Louis Theroux is the man

I'm loving both of these at the moment :)
I love anything to do with science, and anything Louis has done ;)

I watched Louis Theroux in the Miami Jail one, good enough.
I find him a bit condesending at times, as if hes talking down to the people he is interviewing, his questions often seem so loaded
I dont know why they call jails in America "correctional facilities". It looks like the last place anyone is going to be corrected of anything. :p

^ Yeah its crazy, those cells hold like 15 people. Most of them are psychos.

I think part 2 to that is on at 9pm tonight bbc2.

Happy days.

Picture getting thrown into one of those cells... you'd need to just bounce in swinging and hope for the best. Felt sorry for that wee geek but towards the end I starting thinking there was something a bit sinister about him.

Yeah i know the guy you mean, he was accused of murdering a woman who he had disliked all his life. There was definitely something creepy about him with the way he was talking.

You seen the latest strangeway prison documentarys on itv? I thought they were pretty good.

ha ha

i finally got through the first episode , i was so glad he finally got on to the discussion of space rather than his sand castle and spade xD

now on to episode 2

Watcghing the second episode of Superbrands at the moment. God, I hate brands (as angelsmoke knows all too well after a great 2CI trip where we talked about brands all night :D, was a great night) but as I'm sure quite a lot of others do, I succumb to the advertising and lure of brands too. I try and buy my clothes based on the look rather than the brands.
