I'll try it once more, big star nothing can hurt me.
Jeeez, it's the official trail againg. It's made into a film. What caught my eye was teenage fanclub really loved this band.
Would you mind posting a link to a song Mr director?
Appreciated if you got the time.

Just FTR, Shammy, your tag was exactly right, except the closing tag needs a slash between the bracket and the first letter, so. It's the same for all the tags, although bold and italic text, etc, seem to no longer require them for me.

Nice one Alasdairm, proud to say they're from my neck of the woods (not so sunny) glasgow.
Not Wasted tonight that's for sure, and talents gone walkabout; perhaps as a result?
Cool nice to meet cha, I'll have to fire that Big Star track up on my ipad, as the sound on this laptop is broke.

Oh, just another doc to add to the list
The Undatables.
Never noticed it before but the 2 I've seen have been a joy to watch.
'Kick him in the nut's; send his nut's into space!' said a girl with Tourette's syndrome out on a date :D
Man haven't laughed so much in ages!
Peace out.

^ i'm from edinburgh. i've seen them live many times.

i also was lucky enough to see bit star perform (well, what was left of them plus the posies) at the clapham grand in 1993 :)

There's sort of a pattern in the kind of documentaries you're into, isn't there foolsgold? You knows what you likes, it would seem.

lmfao really what would that be I wonder ? :) the serial killer deep inside of me wanting out lol

Cool; and here's me thinking you be waaaay over in California ;)
Sadly my time in Edinburgh was all locked up in school. Saw Mega City Four a few times there at a venue under a bridge, hehe that doesn't really help much given Edinburgh is chock full of Bridges.
I'm interested to give the most recent Daft Punk album a try; Random Access Memories I think it's called.
Caught some on Radio 4 late last night and sounded pretty decent.

Yeah I'm from the US but live in Glasgow, kinda backward and twisted.
Actually the fannies recorded in this very building! It's been converted to flats (or apartments); it's hard to get used to the lingo when your living in limbo ;)
Yeah I just a a glimmer of the Daft Punk album on radio four, when it goes into a click track and back. It was based on the producer of Donna Summer's I feel love, Giorgio Moroder.
Man, it's nothing like their single alive with the minimal progressive sound.

Getting back on topic.
Don't look down!
Or don't look in my fridge.
Nah the first one is excellent, honestly, with james kingston.
Or Mustangwanted, he's just a great guy with verging on insane ideology to overcome fear.
Don't look down, or up for that matter

Had a few music-related docs mentioned so gonna use that as an excuse to shoehorn in...

Not actually about the band but what they named themselves after. I saw the doc years before I'd heard of the band (was a latecomer to the latter) but they got instabrowniepoints for the reference. Excellent doc about Japanese bike gangs. Beautifully shot in grainy, moody black and white. Proof, if ever it be needed, that Akira was actually FACT!

Possibly.

Well worth a watch whether you have any interest in biker gangs (I don't) or not. Bit of a classic really <3

That mustang guy was especially crazy. Surprised to hear he'd been doing that kind of thing for 10 or so years, would've thought he'd be long dead.

Sweaty palms throughout!
