^ Sounds good, Marty - will track it down :).

Remember, no links to torrents please - probably misunderstood your post, but just to be on the safe side I thought I'd remind you and everybody else. Only links to copyright-free material please :).

No good thing you mentioned or i'd have been getting on the blunderbus for sure man

Wisconsin Death Trip is pretty good. Docu about the extreme weirdness that has gone on in Wisconsin over the years - some seriously fucked-up stories in there. My favourite is probably the one about the Victorian-era schoolmistress who, once a month or so without fail, went on a mad coke binge (cos it soothed her "nerves") and travelled from one town to the next chucking stones through all the windows she could find :D.

Anyone been watching the 2 parter on BBC 2 Horizons, not really a Documentry but interesting never the less. Especially for those who have encountered mental health first hand!! (so thats everyone here)

How Mad Are You???

Part 2 is on tonight i believe, you can catch part 1 if you havent seen it on BBC iPlayer.

..........Basically 10 people (5 diagnosed mentally ill, 5 classed as normal) have to do a range of tasks and these 3 Mental Health boffins have to pick out witch of the 10 are mentally ill and which illness they have.

The illnesses are Depression, OCD, Schizophrenia, Bipolar and Panic Disorder i think.

Yeah I'm gonna give that a watch, mental health stuff fascinates me

Fist one was reasonably interesting but it seems a bit pointless. People with those mental health issues are not always symptomatic, so there's nothing for the boffins to spot. I mean, I have a friend who has has a few schizophrenic episodes that required sectioning, but if you met him tomorrow there's no way you'd notice anything

watched this yesterday, kinda has it all really, american students (3 with chemistry knowledge), video taping themselves getting high as kites on crystal mdma, then making their plan to set up a lab, then buying the saffroil and chem stuff, then making it...............all videotaped by themselves!

they were the group that led to Strikes downfall.............I won't say anymore casue it's kinda got some Columbo mixed in too for you (plus some Simpsons "Rockbottom")!

there are two versions on youtube, one of them is in terrible quality though.........

5 parts, here's part 1 from the clean rip!

PS. In part 4, "we are so cool, we are so much cooler then anybody else"

Jesus Christ!

I just watched a program on BBC called 'Survivor'. The whole of the UK falls victim to a massive flu epedemic which ends up wiping out most of the population bar a few survivors. I can tell it's just going to get worse and worse. Rubbish twist at the end and really bad special effects.

Recommended to me by Evad, I'll pass that recommendation on - Dope Sick Love. Watched it last night and it's pretty damned amazing. One of the best junky docus I've seen really - could relate to every moment of it... with the possible exception of getting my dick sucked for money, I was never that lucky :|.

It follows two junky/crackhead couples around the streets of NYC and really does show everything. It's near the knuckle and very hard to watch in places. In one scene where the boyfriend is quite happy after getting his shot, his missus spends agonising minutes frantically sticking herself with a bent and blunt needle - in the wrist. Made even me cringe and I've done the same thing myself.

The access that the film-makers get is extraordinary. In places I almost thought it must have been set-up - candid would be a good word. If you ever wondered just what the glamorous life of a street junky entails, then wonder no more cos this is as close as you'll get without doing it for yourself. Would highly recommend it :).

Trailer

Clip (involves needles)
