so, two bags with stamps on them could (much more) easily contain different substances.

Last time i was in New Zealand i had the stamped bag situation with meth explained to me. With pills the stamp comes from the producer and here in Australia the producer is a long way from the dealer so hard to find and, i imagine, risky to 'get back at' for stealing a brand however with meth in NZ i was told the stamp was put on by the distribution network. Therefore if anyone was to chuck a fake stamp on it would either be the dealer or someone one step up from the dealer and the ripped off distrubition network would take the matter very very seriously and be easily strong enough to deal severe punishment to the offenders. No i can't really verify much of what i was told but if it was true it sounds like a pretty good system, when i head it i wished meth in Sydney came branded.
