has made me realise just how incredibley lucky I am to have met some one so wonderful, beautiful, funny, and enjoyable to be with.... and how much I want to spend the rest of my life with him!

A solitary tear has just rolled from my eye and landed in the pile of vomit i just hurled on the floor :)

You two should audition for the next Disney film.

Bollocks, it's just a minor inconvenience. :D

you spend 3 days wading through mud and call it a "minor incocnvenience"....

I like jumpuing around like a loon...... this much was impossible.

Glade was a shedload of fun, if it had been my first then it would have been the best weekend ever, Nasser didn't stop grinning all weekend =D and rightly so.

it just wasn't glade imo...... a great weekend with great people yes, Glade, no.

it wont stop me goping again, but if it rains next year I will be prepared..... full waterproofs and lots of rolling around in the mud regardless :D:D:D

Some great pic's in this thread, kinda gutted I missed the last few hours but a decent curry, bed and a cuddle of the missus was much needed.

Bastard powder Mk2 has convinced me that the smae thing will happen next year so I wait with bated breath :D:D=D

Splashing around in the mud at the Origin stage to OOOD was shit-loads of fun

What time were they on? They were due on at 12, but i was told they sound checked and decided they couldnt play under those conditions, i assumed that was it.

Highlight of the festival for me was when the rain was POURING on early Friday afternoon and we went to the Sancho Panzy tent in spit of protests from *some* people.

Some guy managed to get a cdj wired up and the sounds system working and stuck on the hardfloor remix of Mory Kante - Yeke Yeke One of my favourite songs ever and reinforced in my head I was going to have a fucking blast in spite of the quite unbelievable weather conditions..

I have done so, I quite enjoyed it strangely. Wellies make you invincible so it's no hassle.

Yeah! I didnt let the mud bother me once!

But to be fair to some people, wearing wellies that dont fit, or even worse, not wearing wellies at all, can kinda take the edge off the enjoyment....

I still had a great weekend tho! I cant wait for next year already!!!!!

Acid Voodoo, you've no idea how bad me and Tranced and the other lad Patters (not on here yet) felt for leaving you. What did you actually do in the end? Did you find any company?

I'm so relieved you're on a PC!

no worries, i decided that to avoid the rain in the morning, i should leave as early as possible, so i just went and got some food, ate aload of blues, and passed out in my tent til 8am. I coulda forced down some drink and gone to socialise, but people were acting pretty sketchy at that point desperately looking for more ket/nangs!

all worked out fine in the end, apart from having to go to london ha ha

Wellies are essential for muddy festivals, I found I need 2 sizes below what my real shoe size is for them to fit and be comfortable. They slice into my legs at the calves tho, I've still scars from a few weeks back. :\

Not having wellies would not be good.

Wellies, 3/4 length shorts, a t-shirt and a cheap poncho. Sorted!

so you think is clever to introduce your younger brother to brain-damaging drugs you cunt

Confused.com!!!!

If those are your veiws, you are entitiled to them, then why bother joining a Drugs Discussion message board?

We like our brain damaging drugs here!

Brain cells well spent in my opinion.

Michael, glad to see you on here, it's me who keeps ringing you - just wanted to catch up and see how you got on getting home.. You and Michelle won't pick up!

I don't smell anymore, seriously guys. =D

And yes Michael, I had the best weekend of my life at Glade. It was you guys who made it such a blinder as much as the music/visuals, if not more. Plus the "if an animal doesn't run away from you when you punch it, humans eat them.. thats why you don't see squirrels being served in restaurants" banter was complete comedy.

Does anyone else have anymore Michaelisms?

Just read on another board that you're not allowed to take alcohol into Glade at all, any truth in this?

Thursday night in a plastic container = yes. Purely because nothing was being sold then apparently.

My fave pic of the festival....

From left to right:

Grobert, duck_racer, Hedonistic Angel, Lucyinthesky and her bf!

[Edit: Gah! Why wont photobucket pics post as an image rather then a link???]

Brain cells well spent in my opinion.

Nonsense! I took 5htp, ginko and vitamin supplements, and made sure I ate and slept enough. Know what? I've never felt sharper mentally, better still I've had a wee bit of social phobia in the past year or so, and that has dissappeared completely. Had a rocking job interview today with 3 execs grilling me, passed with flying colours. I'm sure the good vibe, psychedelics and like-minded people had something to with it. Of course, all things in moderation..

I love festivals, and this one was special.
