I've had a lot of fun at mudbath festivals but it's still better when the weather is warm and dry.

Much less likely to go home ill too :\

I've been ill since the last glade =D (although, its not really been that much fun lol)

of course I'd prefer the sun......... but throwing mud at you guys will more than compensate ;)

Spent today at work thinking about my fancy dress outfit and think I have found a winner.

Probably down to the bastard powder. Sorry to hear you ahve been ill, you are right ill is definitely not fun when you are older. I remember the great days of being ill whilst young, no school, pear drops & lucosade, disney films all day and endless sympathy from the mum.

Thinking about it would be quite simple to recreate the 'young' ill experience.

if it doesn't kill you it makes you stronger.......... I've lasted a year, you should see my right arm :D:D

I was just looking through last years Glade thread.... I was soooooo excited about going. Then my fucking CUNT of an ex boyfriend decided to hve a massive cop about me going, blame me for *accidently* loosing £200 in cash the week before, and then tell me I wasnt alowed to go, even tho I probably couldnt have afforded it.

So fuck it. Come rain, come shine, come fucking hell or HIGH WATER, I am gonna enjoy myself and celebrate the fact that against all adversity, I graduated with a 2.2 this time last year!!!!

That and I am free from the shackles of a controlling relationship!

Glade is gonna be immense! Even if it will be spent in wellies and a kagool!!!! :)

MY TICKETS ARRIVED THIS MORNING! They are not actually tickets, but credit card things, you have to activate them - then i guess you just get scanned on entry and let in.

Oh, and to those predicting rain

a) You cannot make weather predictions with any degree of accuracy for longer than 7-8 days MAX (and i have a geography degree - i should know)
b) Have faith in the magic of glade - the fairies wouldnt let it rain!

got my ticket today too :D

activated it no porbs, nice an deasy.

Bad news......... We're not allowed to take any booze in with us this year :(:(

Tickets activated!

BRING IT LE FUCK ON! =D %) =D

Yeah, I noticed that they snuck that one in there too. :(

what what WHAT?

Cant be serious...maybe i could smuggle vodka in a colostomy bag or something...

On the gladtalk forum they're saying that since the license doesn't come into effect until 6pm thursday, you can bring a personal amount of alcohol as long as you arrive before that time.

This is indeed correct. The organisors have confirmed a personal amount of booze NOT in glass bottles may be brought in as long as it is before 6pm thursday only.

The level of security regarding tickets is ridiculous. Utility bill or photo ID proving purchase address?

I really fucking hate bureaucracy like this. I'm going with the debit card I paid with and they WILL let me in! And the booze thing...even at corporate shite events like Reading/Leeds you can still bring your own booze in.

I hope it's good. All the rules scream out *bag of toss*

Yeah, red tape sucks, but still they do it to cut down on ticket touts and such, so you gotta see the benifits. Otherwise the event would have sold out quickly and we'd all have to pay through the NOSE for tickets!

Its not THAT much hassle taking along a Utility billl and your driving lisence is it?

So quit yo jibber jabber, fool!

I approve of any steps taken to stop ticket touting - and that's why they've done it. You don't need utility and driving licence, one OR the other is fine.
