Sorry, didn't wanna bore u all with my crap so I deleted it.

Now u've made a point of it tho... I'm not sure what to think of this altercation. I kinda feel sorry for the guy, in his statement he said that he was drunk and wouldn't have acted like that normally.

Busy day for me as have quite a few things that I need to get done. Were going out for dinner later and then were off to the Mall for shopping :!

In principle I totally agree, however in both Rassyvibes statement and the one of our continental brother they appear to have assaulted the individual in question in the latter case stabbing them........just to be clear on my position ...that isnt OK
 
Well, I'm not even supposed to be here. I should be sleeping off a good session right now. Supply chain difficulties ..... Going into work even although I was supposed to be off, in case I'm needed. Depending how much work I actually do, I might arrange to extend my holiday. The easy boss is in, and the scary boss is away ..... So why not?

Not to excuse my behaviour that night but maybe to go some way to explain my state of mind at the time. A few months before I committed the assault I was sexually assaulted at knife point for 3 hours and the bloke was never caught.
From that night I made sure to never leave the house without a knife as I was determined it would never happen to me again. If it hadn't been for my assault I would never have had a knife on me in the first place.
 
That feeling when your usual reliable as hell dealer is uncontactable but the guy who hasn't replied to texts or calls for months suddenly sends a message going 'sup' <3

I understand your offense but I think it wise to consider that without context only a sociopath would agree with stabbing someone.
I would have zero issue with stabbing anyone in the defense of myself of others, but outside of that context, I find it despicable.

I read the context, I'm sorry I didn't realise we changed the rules depending on people's sexuality. My mistake. What makes you think I'm not gay or bisexual anyway?

Nice to see the fine minds that we have chosen to represent us responding to concerns in such a polite and professional manner....

I would love to believe that some form of continuity would be applied to the manner in which this forum is policed, but sadly that is not the case.
 
You seem to have an issue with things that were before my time, take that up with the relevant offending party.
There was no rule change, you are simply clutching at straws in an attempt to discredit the original reason behind whatever disciplinary action was taken. IMO, as ever.

I refuse to apologise for being genuinely happy that I can now be the person I was born.

You can continue if it will make you feel better, but it won't change any past actions, especially those I literally had zero involvement in.
I know that 'M' word under my name means I become a target for whatever shit is frequently flung at others with that 'M' word, but please know the only reason that word is there is because I volunteer my time to staff the forum I love and to stop people dying.

I didn't ask anything of you I was just passing comment. It's strange that what is OK for one person is not OK for another don't you think? I don't really see where I'm clutching at straws but I would be happy to be enlightened, I'm always willing to learn more about myself.

Congratulations for refusing to apologise for your sexuality, of course that should never be something that anyone has to do. I don't really see what the relevance of that is though. I applaud your desire to have a positive impact on the forum I think it's wonderful that people give up their own time to do it, telling people they have their head up their arse because you have made a load of false assumptions is probably not appropriate for someone in your position though. Certainly it doesn't lend you the appropriate gravitas.
 
Well, if your view is correct, I welcome the same disciplinary action that was taken with your self.
I do not, and never will, claim to be 100% correct in my views and actions on the forum or elsewhere.
However, you are tying two points into one; my verbal conduct and your past disciplinary action by other people are not one and the same.

I really do hope it's clear after my few months in the Mod position that, well, I do my best be anything but a "Mod-Nazi".
I don't do "beef", nor personal disputes. The fact of the matter is, your past is 'naff all to do with me, and I don't intend for it to be.
All I desire is this forum carry on with its HR basis.

You may also consider it a clear symbol of this forum moving forward, I would not be offended by such a comment, based on context. Whether past Mods were is not my business.

I haven't really been posting so I have precisely zero idea of the manner in which you are approaching the task, like I say I was just highlighting the inconsistency in the way things are done. I don't really understand why you keep pointing out it has nothing to do with you as that isn't an accusation that anyone has leveled.

It's pretty poor that you would respond to a genuine concern with such rudeness though.
 
As above, I am open to being wrong, and if I was, the rest of the Mod team has been able to, and will continue to be, able to take the same action with myself.
I welcome that.

I keep pointing out it has zero to do with me because you are addressing me personally in reference to things I was not in a staff position to observe, or even frequenting the forum at that point.

Again, take it up with the relevant party, and if that doesn't work, ScotchMist is my "boss", and so you may complain about me to him officially.

Why would I complain about you when I have no problem with you? I never addressed you personally with regards to the complaint of double standards I just quoted your post because it was a necessary part of the process. I'm
not sure what it is about that you are struggling to understand.

The only thing I've adressed to you is that perhaps you might choose to not be so rude to board users for no reason other than that you're getting a little bit confused. Frankly you can call me all the cunts under the sun if you want to and I'm never going to want to report you to your boss because I'm not that sad or easily offended. I might choose to point out that it doesn't reflect that well on you for your own sake though.
 
You're entitled to your opinion, though I must point out my prior point that I have more reason than most to be offended by such a comment, but I would not be, and so going forward one may consider that a symbolic victory for free speech.
Or you could just move on.
