Actually, on that very poignant note, I shall go and light my last Synth blunt for a while.
Still got an ounce or two left over but I legitimately feel a bit less intelligent already. 8)

Obvious HR note to be fukkin' careful with benzos and opioids, if the combo doesn't kill you it makes for a Hellish polydrug addiction.

You think it did nothing because you didn't 'feel' it. However, that dose is still active in your system causing CNS depression - and will be for days. It has a half life of 42 hours which means that if you took aa full 1mg tablet, after 2 days you will still have the equivalent of half a tablet still active - although 0.5mg doesn't sound much, it's still the equivalent of 5mg of Valium, which you probably WOULD feel. Furthermore, the body's metabolism converts it into other active benzos which can still be detected upto 19 days later. The lack of recreational effects with these things leads to the temptation to take more and more and before you know it you're in full blackout mode - and I don't mean just zonking out, I mean your body goes onto autopilot, but you lose the higher mental functions which control socially acceptable behaviour. So in blackout mode, people are capable of absolutely anything, with no memory of it afterwards.
 
Also achy as hell so prob caught this bug hope it goes tomorrow for me to have my tattoo done. That's one good thing about bupe I never seem to get colds or owt on it. Looks like i'll have to keep sipping this codeine since nothing is happening n it may help with thus achiness.

A lot of people use different benzos that have an immediate effect, others like do go the long road and enjoy the sensation of a few days of fuzzyness or simply blacked out. Benzo tolerance can catch up with you so quickly so you take another tablet, another few mg etc - sometimes people do not know they have a problem until they try to stop. Also a lot of people use them to take the edge of other drugs or to come down/sleep after taking stimulants.

Please do not forget the long half life of what your taking, imagine it like you have drunk a bottle of wine on Monday - on Tuesday half of that bottle is still active in your system (that you will not feel), if you drank another bottle of wine - you have one and a half bottles in your system - next day you would have an active bottle of wine in your system without feeling drunk.

I think they're fakes. I'll try one more n if nowt happens im going to flush them. I was looking foward to a nice feel of calm n euthoria. I'm absolutely gutted now. This codeine's done nothing either n I've drunk half since last night.

Honestly this drugginess malarky is complicated stuff.

Never had the linctus, is it codeine phosphate? How many mg in a bottle? Don't forget you've also got bupe in your system which is a potent opioid in itself.

You're right about 'drugginess being a complicated malarky' though - it takes years of training to do it 'right'. Most people start off in their teens and fuck up many times along the way. Most survive, but many don't. But when you're young you can get away with a lot more bodily abuse and recover quicker. The major problem with the RC scene is that absolutely anybody has access to powerful psychoactive substances without having had any training - these are the people that have fucked it up for the rest of us. But even the most experienced druggies still make mistakes. Taking drugs is similar to doing extreme sports - they both produce euphoria, they both require training and the benefit of experience, and they can both kill.
