Tbh Evey, things ain't gone to plan. We found out the other day some cunt has hacked into wifey's cashcard, and been running up debts in betting shops and cinemas. The bank are paying it all back, but its fucked the cash flow up a tad. But at least the kids are sorted...
 
I like the words to that song. I wouldn't have much of any man who saw men had attacked his girlfriend did nowt. A man attacking a woman is wrong; 3 men togethether attacking her, is dispictible (I know it's made up). But in Sid's case I truly believe that focusing on revenge would just be counterproductive n destructive. He said, awhile back, he's got borderline personality disorder so I don't think encouraging him is good. Best to help him find another way to deal with what's happened that isn't driven by anger n is more more positive for him. If this isn't a misunderstanding that can be discussed n worked through with the aid of an unbiased third party, then it's probably best he moves on n works on dealing with things in his life like the death of his friend n wanting to "pay people back who have hurt him." That's not healthy n will just cause him more pain n hurt. It helps no-one.

Fucksake... What the eck's wrong with people? I'm sorry to hear but glad you were able to get the money back n at least the kids are sorted for Christmas. Are they any closer to finding out who did this? Fkn bastards :(

Nah, they'll get away with it of course. But It put the Mrs on the spot a bit when she was on the phone to the fraud people and they asked 'who are xxxxx? (our vendor) :\
 
We've had shadow people, marathon porn binges, fixated with gaming, fixated with dirt, huge arguments, paranoia & conspiracy...followed by feeling stupid for a while. And this is all only from 250mg or so sniffed in the past 24 hours. 2 nights with no sleep now, better sleep tonight or I'll be full on tripping.

Nothing to be ashamed of when it comes to liking country music. It's kind of like the redneck's hip-hop (discounting the recent appearance of actual redneck hip-hop).

Country music is still a big thing in Ireland, although Irish Country is a heap of shite. My da still tours these isles in a country band, so I was reared on the stuff. It's also similar to hip-hop in that modern stuff is shite and old-school is good. New country music just wants to talk about merka, freedom, and gawd. It's basically 80s rock with a southern drawl. Old country music was about trains, drinking, cheating, mama, pick ups, prison, absent fathers, and the rain. Nowadays they just sweep their problems under the carpet and make sure they wear tight shirts.

It's just an extension of the folk/blues lineage to me.

@Don: yes, its often hard to distinguish between blues/folk/country. I've always liked the blues, but couldn't get my head round the American folk/country thing. Then I 'discovered' Neil Young and the Grateful Dead, and its all slotted into place now.
