fkn annoyin when i got in work this mornin, my collegaue was like "Have you got any wheels?" i passed my test last week and they already expect me to have a car. Fkn hell man its not like i have actual money for a car even though i need one for my job
 
So gf broke up after 6 months together today.. Im sad but more chocked & feels weird. But could feel it coming.

I really do have a benzo tolerance... I remember when 5mg diaz had me fucking loopy. Today I've taken a third of my weekly loraz script and it barely helps my anxiety, nor can I really feel it. I'm trash.
 
You're not trash at all Kota.. We've all got our problems, we just gotta get on as best we can. Thinking of yourself like that will only lead to darker paths..

Fix'd.

Don't beat yourself up over it - benzos produce tolerance. It's one of their things. They also stop working when taken day-in, day-out at increasing levels. I find they only really work properly over the long term (I've used benzos off and on (mostly scripted) for 20-odd years) is when you don't take them daily and only take when symptoms are especially bad. This way tolerance never really rises significantly and they remain fully effective for years - even decades.

The alternative is to take them daily at ever increasing levels until no matter how much one takes they no longer work and then begins the long, slow taper that becomes essential not only to have any hope of regaining any beneficial effects but also to avoid seizures and horrendous w/d symptoms.

I know which option I prefer but it's a something for you to decide (ideally in combination with your prescribing doctor).
 
Thanks, SM and Shambles. :) I really appreciate it. I'm trying to get a GP appointment to get back on diazepam because I subjectively feel it more than lorazepam, but I have to see the GP who knows me well - some randomer would stick me on 5mg diazes and leave me to rot/seize/hallucinate. Maybe I'm just remembering the diazepam fondly - my tolerance was much lower last time I was on it - but I think it's got to be worth a try.
 
Im pretty sure Diaz has a much longer half life so they may be more suitable if the loraz isnt holding you sufficiently which in turn should help you get your tolerance down with a taper.

As Shambles said, of the two choices you know.which is the right.one. speak to your doc though, im not really qualified academically or through experience to suggest much else ;) take care x
 
I found my way to conquer social anxiety was to get some proper clothing, lots of Versace, Armani, D&G.

Dress proper and you'll feel like a million bucks. I mean if I seen a lass shopping at Poundland and I've got on me Versace trackie I know if I approach her she'll probably be wetting her knickers innit. Try my approach it won't leave you with any nasty symptoms, perhaps more expensive than benzos having to go out and buy new clothing each season, tanning, getting your haircut, but it works wonders.
