๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Social ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Gibberings ver. CCXIX - "what's new, c*nty chops?"

I have stupidly done just this, getting it under control though
Good luck with that. All you can do is tackle things one step at a time, imho.

For me, benzos have been a staple for far too long., Apart from one taper and a 6 month attempt at abstinence. It wasn't working for me. Years later I found out that it can take months to years to fully recover from long term benzo use. Maybe if I'd held out just a little longer things would have improved. But I think social things will probably always be difficult for me.

It's often been a case of benzos plus something else, for me, whether that be stimulants, kratom, opiates, whatever.

It's currently kratom - again.

So I'm no stranger to poly-drug use / dependence. Although I am thankful that it has always been 'only' one or 2 substances at any one time. I don't think I could handle the chaos of living with a dependence on a multitude of different substances.

You have Pfizer (Lyrica) Pregabs?

You lucky, lucky, barsteward!

They are the Holy Grail of Pregabs imho, and I don't ever recall even seeing them for sale anywhere!
I have atm Indian Pregab 450mg each.
I have had Pfizer before twice, possibly 3 times from someone I know.

You wanna know the truth these Indian ones piss on Pfizer in terms of time to kick in & I in my experience it's all one drug, if it says pregabalin on the label & I know the Indian factory they come out off now it's the same drug inside, forget what it may say on the pill coating it's pregabalin inside.

You think because it's NOT Pfizer the pills are loaded with DIPT or 3C-E?

Just be careful mate, they're insidious little fuckers, especially with long term high dose use. When you stop, your opiate and alcohol consumption will go through the roof to compensate.

I've recently just got over a 10g a day gabapentin habit. It felt fuckin great, until I stopped. The strange thing is that I didn't associate any negative effects with withdrawal. I just felt generally shit. But now it's worn off, I can see it for what it was.
Don't worry about me, I know what I'm doing.
I'll be fine but thanks for thinking about me, you are one of a very small few on here I truly like.

Everyone keeps warning me about these pills but I will be fine, nobody has to worry about me.

The concept is almost as scary as the "monster habit" where users think they're being smart, by having several substance on rotation, thinking they can avoid addiction to any of them. But get the frequencies of that wrong, and you potentially end up with the "monster habit" involving a dependence on every substance used in the rotation.
If you don't get the frequencies of it wrong you have a good time.
You go Shy Diving you have a great time BUT also run the LOW RISK you'll hit the floor at 120mph (The terminal velocity of an average human in a standard belly-to-earth freefall position)

I will reply to your posts @Zopiclone bandit

I just want to take my time to hopefully make some decent responses, rather than make instant trigger reaction hasty replies.

In the meantime, and as this is the Gibberings thread, I've just been casually watching a small red spider of a type I've never seen before, been building a web this morning, between the fronds of a giant fern, that grows right next to my kitchen window.

It's caught some kind of fly, that is bigger than itself already! That must be within 2 hours of it starting the web. Gotta say I'm surprised and impressed, although I missed the most exciting phase, where the spider tightly wraps up it's victim, who generally puts up a ferocious resistance at this stage, in a literal fight for it's life.

I'll never forget seeing a fight to the death between a big spider and a wasp, again right next to my kitchen window. The wasp was caught in the spider's web, and as the spider tried to wrap up the wasp more tightly, the wasp was stinging the fuck out of the spider, time and time again. I have no idea if the spider was resistant to those stings, or felt them very hard, but just carried on wrapping up that wasp regardless, until it could no longer move.

I do like the drama of watching spiders wrap up their victims. That wasp has definitely been the most dramatic victim of spiders that I've seen so far.

If anyone ever asks the question "who would win in a fight between a spider and a wasp?" I'd be able to answer that from my own experience. Although I can't be sure if the result of that fight would be the same every time.

It's hard to interpret that meme, as I cant see where the start and finish is.

The head tilt definitely looks like 'thinking for a second' and the slow blink and eye roll, looks like "this is boring, I don't care."

I mean fair enough, but regardless, I'll still respond to your earlier posts, when I have the right energy and the right words.

The difference is between what I say & what you are trying in a backhanded way is this...........

I say things in a BLUNT fashion as I have zero time for B.S. & if you aren't used to it yet I say you do quickly.
You think I "make instant trigger reaction hasty replies" you are wrong, I just say how things are without any room for mistake or error on what I say.

You got something to say about me or to me spit it out quickly & say it to me directly.

I'm waiting to hear from you via DM or post on here.

Eh?

You have completely misenterpreted what I was saying.

I wasnt saying anyting about you at all, it was all about me, and my reaction.

Anything else, is you reading things that weren't there, or perhaps I worded things badly.

This is even more reason for ME to take a bit of time in my responses.

I repeat this is a me issue, nothing to do with you.

I stupidly wrote a trigger response email to my father on one occasion in his latter years, and I don't think our relationship was ever the same afterwards. Although he had a hell of a lot going on that could probably have very likely contributed to his total withdrawal from even speaking to me, and his close friend. Only after his death I found out that he was far gone with dementia, and that was probably why he wasnt speaking to me. That hurt badly (him not speaking to me.)

Since then I'm even more wary about trigger reaction hasty replies. I usually am, but occasionally I respond in the heat of anger, and always regret it.

This is 100% a me issue, I am 100% not saying anything about you.

Not that anything you've said has even made me angry either, I was just being weird I guess. I'm currenly trying a dont take benzos or kratom for as long as possible experiment, and maybe i wanted to wait until after taking kratom to reply.

The benzo cravings just kicked in hard and I had to give in, as my heavy pregab hangover just wore off.

With any luck I'll be able to have a decent shit soon, before the kratom cravings kick in, if they do.

I've been taking too much kratom, and my digestive tract has become overwhelmed with all the insoluble fibre, coupled with the opiate receptor linked digestive tract slow down, or almost completely halt, and these last couple of weeks I've barely been able to shit.

Lots of sipping on extremely hot water is required today I think.

hmm I have 10 drugs I'm using regularly at the moment but only 3 that have problems...and even them I've greatly reduced my usage. cannabis doesn't count clearly....

the problems are alcohol, pregab, soma.

40 days without soma and just started taking it again, it's bliss.

pregab my tolerance is back up ffs, need another break already.

not sure how many vids you've seen on indian pharma manufacture but they're pretty pro at what they do, the right indian production will churn out very high grade shit.

not the best example I can think off but the 1st that comes to my mind, there's a hammilton morris vid where he tours a few indian pharmas

you're wired just like me, get right to it and spit it out, ain't got no time for pissing around, be blunt and get on with life it's faster.

but.....I've been forced by work life to stop and pause, to not write what I actually think, I find it agony and pointlessly time consuming but I need to pay the fucking bills!

they have a word for it in Scandinavia selvsensur
  • deleting an opinion before sending a message;
  • replacing a direct statement with something vague or diplomatic;
  • leaving out the most important part of what you think;
  • writing what seems socially acceptable rather than what feels true;
  • using irony, euphemisms, or โ€œmaybeโ€ and โ€œperhapsโ€ to distance yourself from your own view.

And I don't think @Bleaney was doing that, he's a reflective thinker who just takes time constructing his posts with care and thought, you can see it in his writing style.

(I'm far to fucked for 3pm on Sunday, the fact i made this post gives you an idea!)

@placebonaut Many good points raised there, and thanks for the back up.

I especially relate to having done jobs that involved learning how to respond professionally to incredibly rude and insulting emails and phone calls.

It helped immensely once I saw that everyone doing the job received exactly the same sort of messages and phone calls, and so it was nothing personal.

I pretty much totally got the hang of the email and messages part, but found the difficult phone calls a lot harder to deal with and take charge of. I was at least generally able to remain polite, although I had the occasional time, where I said things I shouldnt have, and had customers saying they didnt want me as their contact etc, as a result.

Fortunately the managers didnt exopect you to be perfect, so putting the occasional foot wrong, was never the end of the world.

Although I was very quickly informed about actions and behaviours with my phone calls that would not be tolerated, such as hanging up on aggressive irritating customers, without first calmly issuing some kind of warning statement along the lines of "Please don't swear at me/ speak to me like that, as I will be forced to terminate the call."

It's all been useful life skills to learn tbh.

There's many other points in your message too that I could respond too, hopefully I'll be able to pick up on more of them at some point soon.

I've read many threads about this on Reddit and many people have the same view as you.

However, not everyone does. I think some people's biological reactions may vary according to different brands.

At the moment I am not certain about anything, and buying a name brand with my next order, rather than an Indian generic is just a trial or experimental purchase.

That will tell me if name brands work any better for me personally, as opposed to the Indian generics.

The whole issue may be purely down to tolerance, as 450mg of Indian pregab plus a small dose of benzos, kratom, and weed hit me like a freight train last night.

I slept for a very long time, last night, and couldn't get out of bed this morning, until way later than usual for me.

Although I was very tired as I've been working lots of overtime lately and it's catching up with me.

That's all I have to say, apart from to deny your question about me thinking "because it's NOT Pfizer the pills are loaded with DIPT or 3C-E?" I don't know where you got that from, as I absolutely don't think that, and have never thought anything like that.

I'm merely speculating that the last couple of batches of Indian generics may have been less potent than previously, and might be less potent than brands with good reputations.

This is definitely the case with Soma. It may or may not apply to pregabs, and how it affects me individually. Everyone reacts differently.

I just didn't have the energy or words to put all of that together earlier, but after finally taking my first kratom dose of the day, my mental energy and mood has sky rocketed.

I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but I am now going to be direct in asking you to please remember than most of us on here are using substances, and it's going to create issues for some of us, from time to time.

Like not having the energy or right frame of mind to reply to your post earlier. I had the worst pregab hangover ever, and was also trying to hold off taking kratom for as long as possible, due to the potentially serious GI issues it's causing me right now.

I thought it would be polite to let you know that I had read your posts and would be responding as soon as I could.

Unfortunately that post was not received as I intended it to be received.

That is all.
