🌟🌟 Social 🌟🌟 Gibberings ver. CCXIX - "what's new, c*nty chops?"

Blah, blah, right wing talking point, right wing talking point, yawn.

In Gibberings news…

Afaik Kava is a somewhat similar buzz to alcohol so not a bad alcohol replacement. Shame it’s banned in the UK (naturally). I could go for this if it were available… but it’s not, obviously. Prof Nutt where are you now?!? :!

“Normal” surely applies to literally nobody though, Fubz. Are you? Am I? Definitely not.

As far as I can tell “owning what you are” is quite literally the entire point of the LGBTQ movement. Alongside encouraging others to accept the reality of others’ lives, of course.

I don’t for one moment think you are transphobic - just an auld geezer like me ;) - but the tone of a few other posts has been kinda icky imo.

No harm, no foul. We shall move on to Gibberings new… gibberish, gibber, gibber =D

Christ no. I'm far from 'normal' and the older I get, the more I realise how many mental health issues I possess.

But I don't feel the need to parade down the street holding a massive syringe and insisting that everyone refers to me as 'Junkie'... :ROFLMAO:

Do you have MH issues, or is everyone around you saying they've got them and you've similar? A *LOT* of that doing the rounds.

I've never been diagnosed with anything, but I'm definitely 'not quite right'.

I expend so much energy just trying to keep my shit together, that I've never been able to realise my full potential :\

Fortunately, I'm pretty stoic.

If someone makes a statement about their own psychology you can not confirm or deny, having no access to the mind in question, it does not mean they are wrong or you should deny it. No one is entitled to owning the truth. And there is nothing you can do about it, unfortunately.

Personally couldn't care less about pronouns either, am happy to call anyone whatever they wanna be called.

The trans people I know (3 of them personally, longterm) aren't precious about it unless people are 'misgendering' them on purpose (then they find it uncomfortable)

I wouldn't be classifying their gender issues as mental health issues either. They might be, and they might not be. Ime (having worked in mental health extensively) some trans people have mh issues, some don't. Kinda liker, errrr, other people. I don't believe being trans per-se is defacto a mental health issue. I'm not gonna debate it here (not because I can't but it's not what I use BL for and it's too close to 'work' for comfort for me), just stating my perspective

Hold on a second. Where have I talked about mental health issues at all, least of all gender-related?

EDIT: I mentioned something in connection with pronouns, but that's it. No mention of mental health.
