"Only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the mid-day sun."
Not that I'm calling you an English Man or a mad dog, hahaha, but i trust that you get the idea.
When i was on holiday with a friend in Turkey they were having a heatwave and the temperatures were even hotter than normal over there, above 40c, and a concerned carpet shop keeper called us in out of the heat saying pretty much 'are you mad, this kind of heat has killed people'. Im not sure if thats true, but we both felt fine. (
I work outdoors, and have just worked through the hottest temps ever recorded on this country. It hit 42.8 one day, and was over 40 for around ten days straight at one point.
I was taking in up to 12l of water over a ten hour day, with rehydration solutions. Very hard to think straight in peak heat.
