we have a staff-only forum for staff-only discussion. it's no secret and it's hard to imagine how a forum like this could operate without somewhere for satff to discuss matters which apply only to staff. as you might imagine, the discussion in that forum is rather more mundane than most people might expect :)

On a lighter note i wanna buy a tortoise, some guy local is selling one for £150 with lights/box/food, is this the average price does anyone know? They're by far the greatest animal
 
Evening cunts and cuntesses! I've just been to see Dredd, and I was pleasantly surprised for the most part, although the ending struck me as somewhat improbable. Excellent druggy sfx sequences throughout, and whoever adapted it clearly had more reverence for the source material than whoever did that shocking Stallone version.

Sweet, I couldn't bring myself to watch the stallone version, I just knew I would be disgusted.

I dunno mate but i do know that they live for bloody ages so it's a big commitment .

A tortoise is for life not just for Giro Day .
 
I wanted to bring a turtle back from Singapore, I looked into it but it turns out you actually need a permit there to buy a Malayan box turtle .
The fees involved in bringing him or her over were not worth the hassle in the end, not to mention it IS a commitment for life, Brimz is correct.

Its not like a goldfish, the thing will probably outlive you and your not exactly going to be able to take it on vacation with you

The cost seems reasonable ie 150, but you also need to factor in stuff like calcium supplement , substrate, a decent canister filter which is like £80.
Cost a lot more than people think, and need real commitment if you own one

I do love them though, along with Iguanas , turtles and tortoises are my favourite animal <3
 
just chuck it in the canal when you get bored of it. I wanted to bring lizards back from indonesia but it turns out they are quite hard to catch.

Aye i know it, my mate used to have one but it died at 60, i like the idea of it outliving me, and i'm not in the habit of neglecting animals + i love relaxing things and you can't get a more relaxed animal imo. Still, i'll wait till i have a proper place they're not great for flats. Hows everyone this morning?
 
Not too bad, not starting work till Monday so this is a bit of a wasted week( literally) Couple of huge bongrips for breakfast and a couple of bananas for the munchies.

Was entertaining the thought of signing up for twatter or fakebook but then thought fuck it EADD is enough for me :) Probably wouldnt have time to log into all that shit anyway, not to mention it detaches you from REAL LIFE
I am also one of the ones who didnt watch the Stallone Dredd movie, I saw his "Cobra" one and that was enough for me thanks

His last Rocky one was decent though probably the best one since the first one

On the hunt for a good movie to watch this afternoon, I am leading towards watching " Sin Nombre" again, fucking classic film.
Either that or Amores Perros AGAIN ( probably best avoided if your a dog lover)

got 2 rooms, not huge and iirc they smell quite bad, its not completely unsuitable not really ideal atm
