I wish (although she was too big a creature for a wee man like myself). It was more like death by cudgel :(

The annoying thing is that, because Sammy ran, I got a good head start. All the cars seemed to be Model Ts though and I couldn't get the bastards to start. This meant I had to run across an uneven field to get to the road. Running is always so difficult in dreams.

I'm sorry for running away. Fuck knows what the crime was, but it'd take a lot for one of them to chase us down to the Himalayas.
 
It was an old medieval coin purse with big heavy coins in it, but I've no idea what crime we'd committed. Perhaps the purse of gold was related.

At least I got to see some beautiful views as we drove from South Asia to Ireland..without having to cross any water :p

The Himalayas resemble a new, higher spirituality... some kind of heaven maybe.... Ireland resembles your former regressive, spirituality which is familiar territory for you. This is similar to a heaven and earth scenario. (I'd say heaven and hell but think I might irk off a few of the Irish here, so we'll go with heaven and earth)

The woman is a judge, or some kind of conscience catching up with you and it discerns that you cannot enter the higher spirituality . The height resembles it's power, dominance and significicance and that it is greater than you.

The Stockholm syndrome arises as there is enmity between you and this person in your hearts - no acceptance or facing upto it, but rebellion. It's a sign of your weakeness, and how futile your rebellion is against something greater than you.

Your benign efforts to destroy her or run from her are because it is far greater than you; it's a spiritual issue so it cannot be physically destroyed or hidden from. The coin purse resembles material, which is futile against the spiritual.

Sammy_G is resembling Sin (obviously, baddest man in EADD)... the fact that you are allied with Sammy_G suggests that there is sin in you. Sin is not something you can destroy or run from.


The dream reveals then, that you cannot progress your spirituality because there is underlying issues (perhaps of sin) which have not been dealt with or faced upto. You must then face upto it and deal with it accordingly if you are to ever enter that nirvana/heaven/higher state (resembled by Himalayas).

I've met some happy-clappy god-squad types who think dream interpretation is witchcraft (even although, or possibly because, the Old Testament is full of it; e.g. Genesis 37:5-9, we know a song about that). Then again, they saw demonic representation in a certain colourless carbonated beverage, so may not exactly have been knitting with both needles .....
 
I think what he really means is that I have sexual feelings for my mother.

I don't believe in dream interpretation, at least not in such an abstract sense. For example; the previous three nights I dreamt almost exclusively about astronomy. I interpret it this way; I have been doing a lot of astronomy in the past couple of weeks, which usually ends at sunrise, followed by bed. It is at the forefront of my mind when I go to sleep.

Last night's dream may just have been showing my brain regressing back after six weeks without the devil drink. The Himalayas representing serenity and sobriety, and my return to Ireland represents a return to alcohol. Who better than Sammy G to accompany me back to the drink haha :p
