Gibberings episode 0x000000c5 -- Play nicely or you're out!

Silly question there, good sir.

Obviously his Charmeleon has evolved in a Charizard which has secured a more lucrative market for his growing methamphetamine enterprise.

The stuff of dreams <3

Well my part of the world is not so hilariously idyllic today. Pissing down with rain, miserable as fuck, looks like November. Had all the lights on in the house since 3pm. No that's not a drug Fubar.

Haha, that sucks though to be fair that's Hull basically 300 or so days a year so I'm still jealous. Dealer was lamenting earlier that it only ever seems to start raining when he leaves the house.

Have to ring our GP at 8am to be booked in for a phone consultation with a doctor before they'll set you an appointment to actually see someone. If you want to arrange a follow up for more than a couple of weeks away they can't do it. It's a right fucking pain in the arse. By 8.30 there's no phone consultations left, grrr.

They've just switched to that system here too. Apparently patients have left in droves as a result so - somewhat ironically - it has actually had the desired effect of reducing the number of patients waiting for appointments cos there aren't many patients left. Apparently you can virtually walk in without bothering to call or make an appointment now cos most people who are able to have switched to the doctor in the next town.

They also don't deal with any mental health issues whatsoever (have to deal with a hospital in England or with the mental health team 30-odd miles away for those) or any chronic pain issues. Makes me wonder if they deal with anything other than sore throats and ear infections :\

You never hear the duck, until it's too late, but the echo will make sure that you feel 'The Goose'..

On hold to GPs for aaaaaaaaaaaages.

Edit: waiting now for the on-call doctor to ring back. And it's the one who don't agree with medication according to So I guess I wont be getting back on citalopram then :( wish they'd call n get it over with - I've gotta get my subbies script. And here comes with tired feeling again. Ive not taken more subs since a week on Sunday so cant be eratic dosing.

Hooked from behind with 2 fingers in the nostrils and a thumb up your arse then finish you off with a right good teabagging
Let’s have it troops %)

Sounds like a fun way to start the day 8( - I haven't shaved so excuse the whiskers on ya sack.

Finally got my travel plans sorted out :D - going to give Europe a miss and going to Sri Lanka instead.

I'm sure a few of you have traveled this region before so any tips etc would be appreciated - I'm doing a few locations on the coast Galle and then a few inland around Kandy and then finishing off in Colombo as its nearest to the Airport.

I know its rainy season and off season for a lot of places but that's not an issue for me.

Evey,

Without wishing to sound like a broken record, Buprenorphine kicks around for a long time, and it doesn't even take full effect straight away. After 48 hours, there is still half as much of what you took in your system. It takes 14 days (6-7 times the half life) of taking the exact same amount at the exact time each day to stabilise on Subs. You may start feeling a little better before then, but it's important not to blow it. Anyone who knows the first thing about drugs will tell you this.

I realise you are not exactly the world's most patient person, but you really have to do this properly if you want it to work. There are no short-cuts. Prioritise getting a stable, regular dose above everything else, if you have to.

Get trains (stupidly cheap), go to the tea plantations, it rains all the time in Kandy anyway, Galle is fantastic, stay in the fort, stay in TheLovingNest in the fort (its on the web).

Won't see you in Croatia then.

I looked at the trains but they seem to take forever (and with suitcases) - I was thinking about doing a few smaller stops via car in the same time it would take via train. Were going to the tea plantation and may even stay in the hotel they have (looks fantastic). That loving Nest looks really nice and the location is great, Im not sure if he booked already for Galle (needed a hotel for visa, needed visa for booking), he is very particular about where we stay when we travel and was looking for a Hilton :D.

Does the place (bars clubs etc) all close at 2am ? Are they strict about that or do some places just stay open as long as your buying? Are the pharmacies similar to those in Thailand? I thought that was one of the extra bonuses of having a driver - he can do any shopping that I may require.

Haha well that's what you get for asking for information on a drug forum Bear. You live in a different world mate. Most of us don't stay in the Hilton and do our own driving.

I loved the trains in Sri Lanka, travelling with locals is part of the deal of getting to know the place you're going for me. Yes the trains are slow, they have some ridiculous gradients to deal with, but you can go from one end of the country to the other for about £3.

Bars in Colombo stay open all night, well the all night ones do, but I wasn't a massive fan of Colombo. You won't move fast through Colombo in a car. It's a Buddhist country, not Muslim, so alcohol isn't a problem. Pharmacies are good for valium in SOME places, Galle was good but Kandy I tried loads and couldn't find any. There were alternatives in Kandy, you could get Midazolam (which I think is shit) and some kind of Bro-something or other alternative to Valium. Just buy shit loads in Galle.

Negombo has a nice beach, just north of Colombo.

Hilton hahaha. Are you OTW in disguise?

EDIT There are posh places to stay in the fort in Galle. If you aren't staying somewhere in the fort, you're missing a treat. But you probably are. In fact I can picture where.

Goooood morning all!

I should be receiving some treats from the postie today so I am super excited!

Well she's put me on citalopram but has made me an apt me go back into a month to reduce to 10s, says stick to exercise.

But by goodness knows nothing about addiction. She asked if i was going to have them all in one go. Ffs.

Edit: does anyone know if I can cancel that apt n make it with another gp in the practice or is that seen as bad?
