I have a friend who worked in debt recovery. For the longest time I only heard about her through a mutual friend, and as far as I was concerned she was a PI because she didn't want people to know what she actually did. Just told everyone she helped track people down. So I had all these images of her sat on a bench reading a newspaper with eyeholes cut in it for absolutely ages

edit: and aye I changed it because it would have annoyed the hell out of me if GoS had pointed it out and I didn't :D As it would have done if I didn't have the ability to change it myself. I pride myself on my spelling, but that's one word that got me. That and separate.

^ i dont think you should feel bad about that.
Its no different to selling them a phone or serving them lunch.
Its a world away from bullying your way into someone's house and laughing when their wife n kids cry.

I don't understand why you would have to fuck up the interview/application. :| I only apply for jobs that I would like to in, so yes please do explain; I'm obviously missing something
 
serious suggestion ... for a moment, place yourself in some else's shoes, and see it from the perspective of someone who's out of work say, someone who's being forced to go for jobs they might see as ethically wrong, and wouldn't want to do.

It was HMCS after me for fines for non payment of tv licence. dunno if they were making empty threats about getting the proper police to lock me up for the night but I didn't fancy risking it. Locked up for half a day and cut in half. I shouldn't have looked out the window really and trusted the dogs barking that it wasn't a nice person calling. I don't anwswer the house phone, I don't answer the door . On debts. Student loans to people who don't earn money. what a stupid idea. have now pay later. that's how I got my duran duran record and my 1st solids. the bank of big sister.

Yeh, there's no need for people to do cunty jobs. there's the phone. IGNORE.
