A good mate of mine is doing his placement at JP Morgan with a salary of 39k, his mate is starting at Morgan Stanley at 49k so it's easy to see the appeal! Not at all for me though, the realistic hours you have to put in seem atrocious. Sounds like you know a lot about that field?

My sister works freelance IT and the best advice she gave me is never base yourself in uk, Do it in switzerland or if you can in malta for tax reasons.

I started at a bank comparable to jp morgan after my MBA, it was around 70k . for this I had to trek in each day at age 25 to be in at 7am ( if one minute late official warning) Never left till at least 8 pm each day, I spent all day market making and working on excel macros and vba , it was so pointless we used to make up financial products that we thought were flashy and show them to the back office ( we call them the FIDWK OFFICE ie Fuck I dont wanna Know") they then spent every waking hour thinking of a way to discredit us both on a personal and professionall basis !! and trying to get us fired
We then tried to claim all the expenses our guys made ( ie hotel and restaurant expenses) to a certain guy who shot down a model we worked on for almost 2 weeks when he looked at it for 5 mins..this is what goes on in most banks, we hate the other side and they hate us , its a joke
 
that sounds fucking horrible. and also kinda obviously heading for a meltdown....

definitely NOT going that route.

anyway, am off to bed, early start and long intensive day tomorrow. haha by which i mean 9-6 fuck 7-8!

bit off topic, does anyone have any film recommendations for ketamine? Not feeling a khole session but have a good situation to use ket tonight, empty house, no distractions etc. Want to sprawl out on the sofa in the dark and stick a film on
 
Yeah i think that'd be the way to go, I imagine it would be very easy to get confused. Never tried watching a film on it before
